I got unexpectedly pregnant but m/c in januari at 14 w due to chromosomal defects.
Today we found out that the examination shows it was a little girl.
It gives me very mixed emotions. I feel kind of relieved to know that we actually were able to have a girl, but also devastated to have been so close to a dd but still so far away.
My hopes are that whatever we did then, will be what we do now.
Since we didn't plan that pregnancy I wasn't aware of o coming up, but after finding out I was pregnant I realised that we probably did bd a few days before o.
Also, I know I had a really bad cold at the tim and I know I took antibiotics, bromhexine and other stuff for sinusitis.
Bromhexine is here in sweden said to sway pink, but here i learned blue. Antibiotics, is that swaying at all?
Of course I can't start to take all of that now in order to create the same scenario again, but is there something I should consider in my upcoming sway after knowing last pregnancy was a girl?
The timing maybe? I know our two sons were made very close to o and that we bd at least 2-4 times around o.
I'm thinking bd maybe 2 days before o this time and only making one attempt (I know for sure this girl must have been a one only attempt result).

Looked back in my calendar and can see that I must already have been pregnant starting my antibiotics. So those are not to be included when trying to find any eventual swaying parts.

I had a cold for maybe 3 or 4 weeks during that period and I've read that sways a bit pink, right?

About diet, we normally eat meat every day and I probably did back then as well, so my biggest change from the other to pg:s are really the timing and number of attempts. And our age, of course. But about the weight, I weigh 5-7 kg (10-14 pounds?) more now than I did with my sons.

I am in one way happy to know that we did make it pink, but at the same time sooooo afraid that we wont get it again. I know I would love another ds to pieces but knowing that I actually had a little baby girl growing but then disappearing makes me feel so sad. February 23rd, 2014, 05:19 PM #5I"m so sorry to hear that - it's never easy but I think it's especially difficult in this scenario.

Being ill sways pink. I do think that Bromhexine (guanefesin) sways blue. Antibiotics are also said to sway blue but sounds like that was not a factor in your conception.

I do not believe timing sways whatsoever, but we have been getting great results with one attempt. Above all else, I would keep that one attempt!!!!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!! Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

 Thank you all.

I am really trying to see in a positive way. It wouldn't have been easier if it was a boy and I guess I would have been thinking that we are totally boy-parents and that it is impossible to get girls for us. Now I no we can.

And I so hope we will.

One attempt only for sure, probably a few days before O (whenever that is...). I had no clue about that before coming here, so thanks again!Gorgeous 4 4 6 and unfortunately 6 and unfortunately in jan 2014. Swayed pink but got a lovely little in jan 2014.
