Having to laugh at all of the temperature comments. I am not good in either extreme. I don't mind when I am pregnant because I hated pregnancy anyway so it will always suck my only thinking with the birthday was that my niece's birthday is christmas eve and I don't want to take attention away from her birthday at that time of year. I also have friends with birthdays on 30th December and around there and they hate their birthdays being then. However great point made and yes I too would rather have a christmas girl than wait another 6 months to get an opposite!!

At the moment I am waiting to go to the doctors for something medical to induce AF so will be trying from there - I can't hold off DH for much longer anyway so whilst I would prefer not to have a due date between mid december to mid january, if it happens it happens. The choice may be taken away anyway as I don't know if/when AF will come from the medication or if/when I may O following that.

LOL, yes, I mean Farenheit! 20 degrees is below freezing. I used to visit my in-laws for Xmas in Indiana, and one year it was consistently below freezing and I was the only one willing to walk the poor dog. I don't like slipping on ice, but dealing with that is SO much better than feeling like I'm constantly baking or melting.

Do we start on last day of period lets say CD 6 , then CD10 or CD9? Sorry if its a dumb question lol
    Xx
I would start 3 days before the earliest CD you think you could O on. So for example, if you typically O on CD14, I would start BDing on CD9, since it's conceivable you'd O as early as CD12. But you can always start as soon as AF finishes, or as soon as you see fertile CM, or a darkening second line on an OPK. I've been feeling mild O pain twinges for a few days and my cervix has started softening and rising and opening, so even though I'm only on CD11, I will start today or tomorrow (was going to start even earlier but OPKs were stark white). I have been Oing CD17 or later on the diet but since I started Vitex over 3 weeks ago, I'm hoping to O earlier this month - maybe around CD14.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

stephk, did you also grow up in a very temperate climate? I totally blame that! I'm so sorry you need to jump start AF; you must be SO frustrated. I have known a few cases of wonky/long cycles where Provera was just the thing needed to reset things back to normal. Hopefully that's all you need to get Oing (and conceiving) again. Man, pink swayers sure have issues with O, don't we!

Sorry to everyone that is out. I have the same feelings about a Christmas baby, but trying not to stress about it. I don't think I can skip a month on the clomid.

I am so tired of this diet, it's not even the vegetarian, it's the no breakfast/snacking that is killing me. Anyone else think the same?

Flowergirl, looks like we have the same timing in our 2ww. I am 3 dpo today.

I grew up in San Diego! Yeah, it sucks not having year round weather in the 60's! Maybe that's where my heat intolerance comes from?

I'm also tired of the diet. I miss the snacking, the breakfast, the BEEF and BACON, dessert with tons of whipped cream on top, sugary coffee drinks from Starbucks and local coffee shops, french fries and onion rings... yeah, I may be overdue for a cheat. I just cringe at the idea of cheating this close to ovulation!

On the other hand, once I get my BFP, I may be in for morning sickness, definitely will have some headaches from cutting back on coffee (I'm drinking 3 cups a day,) will probably have constipation issues from coffee and fiber pills, and I know I'll miss the alcohol. Soooo... maybe I should just enjoy the beer, coffee, bread and pasta for now. And the weight loss. Clearly that's going out the window with the BFP, as well!

Oh that's fun b'smommy! You'll have to keep me posted re: any symptoms you start spotting and when you think you'll test! How many mg of clomid are you on? I had 100mg taken days 3 - 7 and on CD 15 today (guessing 3 dpo). I started getting really constipated (sorry tmi) last night and still feeling it today which is so odd for me, especially taking fibre everyday plus I eat a good amount of fruit and veg still. Might be my first sign?! Hoping so!!!

I'm also thinking, being on clomid I'll just keep TTC without a break, even if I end up with two mid Jan birthdays. I just want to fall now and move on. I'm getting over thinking about when I can eat and what I can eat etc. I'm actually pesco-vegetarian anyway but I'm missing my seafood and salmon, tuna etc. and full fat milkshakes and desserts plus being able to snack when I'm hungry. This is my sixth month of LE and I actually don't even like the look of my body at the moment, I need to put on some kg's so being preg will be so so embraced.

GL at the doctors Stephk. I really feel for you, having to wait so long between attempts. The cycle I had before starting clomid was super long and ironically af arrived only an hour or two before my doctors appt to get provera! Have you thought about seeing if you can get clomid too?
