I'm 40. My youngest was born just after I turned 38. He was an oops. Stupid weird cycles. He's totally awesome, though. When he isn't being totally 2.
Both dh & I only ever wanted girls. Actually, dh only wanted one kid, maybe 2. Can't believe I talked him into a 5th. Well, he actually always said if it was guaranteed a girl, he'd go for it. With no HT here & not being independently wealthy (yet!
), I guess just increasing the chance of a girl was enough to persuade him.
