With no HT here & not being independently wealthy (yet! ), I guess just increasing the chance of a girl was enough to persuade him.
I feel ya on the being 2 part lol Ds 3 is 2 yrs old now 😁

I'm from Alberta! Hoping to start trying for #3 this year sometime… I'm 37 so not tons of time and seeing as I have 2 beautiful boys already I'd love to sway to increase my odds for a girl.

Yes swayed hard with #3 til third month and then kinda loosened up too much at the end which gave me my lovely 3rd boy, whom I adore!
Then accidentally (like really were NOT trying) and am pregnant with #4 which we just found out on Friday is a girl!
Def some things we happened to do helped produce that girl looking back I think

I just turned 38 so I feel ya. I just had Ds 4 so I'm playing a waiting game. Started phasing in le diet this week, not really trying to lose to much too fast since I'm breast feeding, but dh and I know we want ONE more. (Wish I could "duggar-it-out" lol)

Sometimes my husband is totally on board with having a 3rd and other days he really doesn't think he's up to the work involved in taking care of 3 little ones. I wish I had all the time in the world and could wait until at least my DS2 was in kindergarten. I'm up for the hard work involved but it definitely has to be a team effort! That being said it kind of annoys me when he goes back and forth because we had always talked about 3 and now I feel like he's going back on our deal. Wondering if anyone else has ever had a similar experience with their significant other?

Yup. Dh has been going back & forth on #5 for at least a year now. He's finally stayed convinced for more than a few days, so hopefully he's really onboard, since I've started trying to cut calories & reduce snacking already.

I totally get the time issue .

My dh is up for this last. What saddens me is in my heart I'm so certain I'll get a boy. And it's not the boy that bothers me, as much as it's the LAST BABY and that beaks my heart, as that door closes for good idk what shape I'll be in
