I think you should make it a separate thread daisy with a sticky to be added in the 2ww forum...
Lol! I don't think my breasts have ever felt tender in my life but I have sure stuffed myself on the boy diet! I'm embarrassed to be seen! I keep hoping I am pregnant so if people are thinking that I've let myself go I can at least tell them why!

Welcome 2TXgirls! Of course you can join :-) FX your 2WW ends with a BFP!

hope.ful FWIW I ended up with DTD 2x 24 hours apart. I don't think timing is very important (if at all) though so I'm OK with it ... if this bean is a girl I sure won't be blaming that as the reason. What did you decide?

iluv I am so excited your results came back normal ... so far so good ... I know it is a long road ahead though but at least right now, things are looking good. Hoping those results helped you breathe just a little bit easier.

Lola I'm happy your results came back so great too! Wonderful news! FX you get a BFP this month ... your dedication to BD while at grandma's deserves some reward and I can think of none better!

Cemas I'm sorry you got a BFN. I know it has got to be hard to keep at this month after month. Are you still on the diet or are you just TTC at this point?

3PNB your family (IL's at least) are rotten!!! Glad your mama was thrilled for your news though! I was just visiting my family for the past 4 days and didn't tell them. They know we want another and they will be excited for us but for some reason I feel like I need to still keep it to myself.

Skrimpy I'm sorry you had a resurgence of GD. Totally understandable, and you know you can always vent it to us. I read your blog and saw where you mentioned you weren't totally confident of your ability to parent girls as well as boys. FWIW I think anyone who actually gives it that much thought as to consider that about themselves is more than likely well equipped to raise ANY child well. I bet your girls turn out great.

Daisyfay and Layla, hope you gals get your BFPs! We have a lot of OHW on here so don't be surprised if it has happened in the past for it to happen to you again.

Tink happy late birthday to your DH!! You'll attempt in September or October? I can't totally remember! Either way it is getting closer and that is exciting!

Sorry to anyone I've missed! Have just gotten home and read thru loads of pages so am sorry if I skipped out on someone!

Can I join, too? My chart has been a little wacky the past couple days, so either I just Oed or am about to. I haven't belonged to a Chat thread since TTCing DS2.

Welcome, WashingtonPromise! I'll probably call you WP :-) Just for sake of efficiency.

TTC5 how long you expect to take off? Just curious. And figuring you'll still stick around here even in your sway-break... don't leave us!

That way, they won't give you a due date that is really a week earlier than it should be. My worry with that is that the doctors will cajole you to induce or whatever when you are really 39 weeks and not 40. But, that is just what I do so I have an accurate due date in my chart at the dr office. I swear, even this last time, I tried to tell them my O day and they didn't want to use that! So old school system. I even told them I knew as I took opks and all, but the idiot nurses just condescendingly asked for my LMP, like I didn't know what I was talking about. OK, sorry for rant there.....doctors can annoy me!!!!!!
OMGoodness, that is so smart and I didn't think about that. Too bad I already told the Dr. date of LMP. That is sooo smart Lola! I wonder if it works out after the 1st major U/S and they adjust the date. Hmmm.

About the telling people part- know what, you and DH need to do what is best for you and the family. Personally, I will not tell a SOUL until I see a heartbeat.....maybe will tell my Mom and sister, because they are my bffs, but won't tell many else. I do have several close girlfriends who I will likely tell (we go drink wine a lot, so they will know!). But, these are the people who I lean on for support should something go wrong, so that is why I am ok with them knowing. And none are assholes, of course. But, for you guys, maybe you want to wait as well, and only tell the people who are close to you and will be sensitive about DS2. And hey, maybe you won't tell anyone for a while, just let us cyberpals be your support! You are right, it should be joyous indeed!
Thanks Lola, I'm so excited the thyroid test was w/in range & I'm so excited to just be happy w/ being pregnant. That wasn't how I felt w/ my last pregnancy at all so that makes me feel better, if that makes any sense.
