Wonderful post, Lola! I know women don't like feeling depressed and weak, but 2 m/c is a lot to take and you are doing great! So pleased to hear your test results are so positive and Yay for Clomid! I sure hope this is it for you Lola, you've been such a blessing to us here and I can't wait to hear you tell us you got a BFP. I know w/ 2 m/c that getting a BFP isn't the end of the worrying but I will be praying for you!

Of coarse Daisy. That's how I realized I was pregnant w/ DS2, I was calling my husband crying and super emotional.
That's so funny Daisy and very accurate. Getting a BFN no doubt will be disappointing for sure but there are many or most of us that can relate. You can absolutely get a BFP the first time and I hope that's the case. I do like w/ the 2 week wait though, that it's not long after that, that you can attempt again. How did you feel about your sway? If I got pregnant the 1st time I would've felt pretty good about my sway (except for the stupid mistakes I made).
My symptoms were i was breaking out (c/b AF though) I was more emotional then the crabby I normally am w/ PMS, I was watching my temps and was really bloated.
GL to you and I sure hope you get a BFP. There is no easy way to get through the 2WW though, sorry. Thanks for the great read though!

Skrimpy!
I literally gasped when I read what your MIL said, that is sooo horrible. Why would anyone say that. Do you rely on them for money? Do you ask them to do childcare for you? I'm so glad your DH stepped in. That makes me so bummed. I swear if anyone says anything like that to me I might just smack them, and I'm not a violent person.
So you would take CLO & Salmon oil together? Hmm. There is a holistic Dr. online I like named Dr. Mercola and I think he recommends Krill Oil instead but I'll have to read up on it again. I'm glad I knew early so I could get right on the prenatal vit.
I don't know why the hammocks are not really in the states at all. They have some similar ones but not really that Miyo hammock that I have and is so cool looking. I sure hope I get it back before DC here is born.
Thanks for the responses Skrimpy!

Welcome 2TXgirls and Washington Promise!
TTC5, I am sad you are taking a break, I was hoping you would get your bfp but I know it is probably good for you to take a break for a bit and then get back on track.
I think I'm going to test tomorrow (10DPO), will probably be negative but it's DH's birthday and I figure, if it's positive that's great and if it's not, oh well, I won't mention to him I took the test.
I think I had a GREAT sway for this attempt, I feel really good about it and I'm torn about August. I have cheated a few times here and there in the 2ww and haven't been as good. Part of the problem is that I've been working though (teacher, but I've been at some workshops and it's been really hard to eat as often as I need to and sometimes I just have to take what's available and it may not be boy friendly). So that makes me worried that once school starts in August, I will be screwing up a lot on the diet and that's the most important part. I guess it's always something. Even if I get a positive tomorrow/this week, I will just start stressing about m/c and then about the big u/s. I wish I could just turn off my brain and relax.Tiffany

I know I've posted a bunch but wanted to give you a quick update from the rest of last week.
I went in for a blood test on Tuesday around 4pm (like you guys knew) for thyroid but they also tested my HCG levels (pregnancy hormone). I went in again after emailing my Dr. on Thurs. at 11:40 or so for another HCG test. Apparently, they can measure your HCG levels to see if it's a viable pregnancy since it's supposed to be doubling every 48-72 hrs at this point. I will post some info about it in case if might be of interest to some of the ladies. Anyway, my Dr. said my HCG results look good, it went from 135 to 340. I have an appt. scheduled this wed. 7/27 at 9:45 a.m. I sure hope it's and U/S but either way it makes me feel so much better to go in right away instead or waiting the 9 weeks that is standard at Kaiser.
Here is the info. I think it's neat cuz I never knew:
Normal
The normal values listed here—called a reference range—are just a guide. These ranges vary from lab to lab, and your lab may have a different range for what’s normal. Your lab report should contain the range your lab uses. Also, your doctor will evaluate your results based on your health and other factors. This means that a value that falls outside the normal values listed here may still be normal for you or your lab.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) levels in blood
Men and nonpregnant women:
Less than 5 international units per liter (IU/L)
Pregnant women, about 3 weeks after the last menstrual period (LMP):
5–50 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 4 weeks after the LMP:
50–500 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 5 weeks after the LMP:
100–10,000 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 6 weeks after the LMP:
1080–30,000 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 8–10 weeks after the LMP:
3500–115,000 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 14 weeks after the LMP (peak):
12,000–270,000 IU/L
Pregnant women, about 15–18 weeks after the LMP:
Up to 200,000 IU/L
High values
If you are pregnant, very high levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) can mean a multiple pregnancy (such as twins or triplets), a molar pregnancy, Down syndrome, or that you are further along in an early pregnancy than estimated by your last menstrual period (LMP).
In a man or a nonpregnant woman, a high hCG level can mean a tumor (cancerous or noncancerous) that develops from a sperm or egg cell (germ cell tumor), such as a tumor of the testicles or ovaries, is present. It may also mean some types of cancer, such as cancer of the stomach, pancreas, large intestine, liver, or lung.
Low values
If you are pregnant, low levels of hCG can mean an ectopic pregnancy, death of your baby, or that you are not as far along in an early pregnancy as estimated by your last menstrual period (LMP).
If you are pregnant, levels of hCG that are decreasing abnormally can mean a miscarriage (spontaneous abortion) is very likely.
