60 is the top level on the alt. diets. 50 is top level for the standard LE

Right now I'm doing low-cal, super low-carb, and a fair amount of protein with herbal drops. I will have switched to LE for about 3-4 weeks when we TTC. Do you think that will hurt our chances? My priority for right now is to lose a fair amount of weight before TTC, so I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot here.
anyone with a largeish amount of weight to lose should NOT be doing standard LE anyway. Can you switch to the alt. form of LE instead of standard (slightly higher protein and fat, a bit lower carb, more whole grains and fruit/veg, and low/no empty carbs.)

a new study that indicated it was not safe and the results have been not good enough to justify any level of risk

My husband is going to continue the diet drinks through conception, though.

Oh, and anyone that might know, I have another question: I have found that even when I'm on antihistamines (I have NOT tried sudafed yet), I still have an abundance of CM throughout the month, is there another way to reduce my CM? Should I use a vinegar douche before we BD? I know that the whole pH idea is out the window, but I need something to get rid of all that fluid before we BD.
I do think caff sways pink but at your discretion

Do not use Sudafed, not safe

have you tried the cetirizine/diphenhydramine combo?

I am not a douching fan, but if you really really feel the need, you can use one storebought vinegar and water douche 4-6 hours before planned attempt. Do not use it any sooner even if CM returns.

Oh my goodness, Atomic, thank you so much for your helpful responses. I've been away and haven't seen these until now. You mentioned that since my hubby walks so much that you would not worry about the abstain. What would you suggest instead, just not worrying about how frequently or recently he has released and still DTD at my positive OPK?

have him release every 4 days and then go for one attempt unprotected. We are getting good results with that one attempt and the reg. release ensures there will be some good sperm available to make it to the egg with one attempt.
