My temp goes up only after my O pains have finished, most months. Not in hyper O months.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Yes I monitor my temperature. Last cycle was quite good to analyze. On CD11 I had a drop and from CD12 it clearly increased (on cd 17 I had a strong decrease, I guess it was an estrogen surge).
This cycle is not that good to analyze because I was sick and I had to take antibitics. However I am not sure I antibitics influence my bbt.

Antibiotics shouldn't affect your BBT, but if your infection had fever that could. But looking at your chart, I don't think your BBT was altered; to me it seems obvious you Oed on CD14 this month...but what CD did you get the ultraschall?

Thanks for your answer! My doctor told me on CD 11 that I already ovulated!! So the temperature does not make really sense!
    BTW, I had a BFN anyway .... 😒

This chart is exhibit A that charting is not always reliable for pinpointing day of O!! I would never have looked at that chart and put day of O before CD 11!! WOW! thanks for posting

Your dr could have been wrong; maybe he saw the corpus luteum from your previous cycle and based on that believed you had Oed already. But it's also possible to have a slow temp rise.

I am sorry about the BFN. But now that you know to BD sooner I bet you will conceive very soon.

Well maybe he was wrong, but I really do not think so. He is very experienced.

This cycle I had an ultrasound on CD7 and he said the follicle is quite big and he expects it to burst in CD9/10!!!! We had and attempt CD8 in the morning. And we will have one more on CD12, so BD every 4d. ☺
