Sorry ladies, I'm way behind! I've been out of town and came back from my trip with the freaking flu. I'm grateful it's not a stomach flu (I'm so sorry miss!), but I'm very worried about how tamiflu and having the flu will affect my babies. UGH.

DH is better about having a DD, but still has zero excitement. I guess I have to deal with the fact that he won't be excited and in love until she's here. It hurts, but I guess I'll just have to wait until she's born!

I'm quarantined to my bedroom (DS and DH don't have the flu and trying to avoid it spreading), so I will probably be on here more lately bugging you guys . Being on "bed rest" is rough - I'm dreading having to possibly go on true bedrest in the third trimester with twins.

Congrats to all the ladies getting their DG - missxo, pinkprincess, etc. Very exciting!

I can't believe you are going to wait til 20 weeks!!!!! This is the first pregnancy I will have waited beyond my BFP to tell anyone. I'm 12 weeks next week and have my scan on Wednesday and can't wait to tell people...although I'm sure most people will have guessed by now...I look dreadful! You must be coping really well.

I think DD is playing "ITS SO FLUFFFAY" with my bladder... SPD is in full flare and they have me in aqua-therapy once a week. Feels marvelous during the session but its like a really strong pain med, you dont realize you are hurting yourself til it wears off. I couldn't get up the 4 steps into my house when it was over. Can't WAIT for the brace to get here!!! Thanks to Atomics suggestion of a marvelous scrub I no longer look and feel like I rolled around in grease and the breakouts are disappearing bit by bit daily. I had my hair sorted out with a shampoo finally but my skin just wouldn't quit. Both my pregnancies followed the old wives skin tales. DS was perfect skin and hair and DD I've completely gone to hell in a hand basket LOL

    Nahri,

I think of you often with SPD. That must be dreadful and I understand completely why this is your last pregnancy.

I have been fussing over my hair a lot too. Its making me nuts. I was trying to grow it out but I have lost all patience. I made an appointment to get it cut blunt and even so it will grow out evenly because this jagged nonsense just looks like a mop of spaghetti by the end if the day. Ugh!
I hadn't really put it all together until lately about the hormones making it so blah, makes sense. I think pregnancy in general just makes my skin and hair yucky...I guess that is what I get for getting knocked up 4 times over!! Haha!

Oh Nahri...I feel the same. My face is very dry, though. I do not break out often am but I have to constantly gently exfoliate with a cotton ball and sesame oil(very sensitive skin, so I do not dare use chemicals in it!). if I don't do that daily or if I don't moisturize my skin, I get flaky spots on my face. And winter doesn't help whatsoever. But I camnot just wash my face and go. Oh, no. Ugh. My skin itches like crazy all over my body...my back, my shins. My ears even itch! It's madness! And my hair is just stringy and unmanageable it seems! With my boys, I had a couple of small breakouts in the fist few weeks, but a "glow" to my skin the rest of the time. So I feel the old wives tales are true in that sense for me as well.

I Just hope that your hip and leg issue gets better for you. I cannot imagine. You poor thing. Take care of yourself!

With DS my hair was just normal, I could attribute the dryness/no shine to the very dry climate I was in (West TX) plus working in a kennel all day long. Redkin all soft conditioner (not every day) and just my normal shampoo was the fix. I was also very concerned about permanent hair loss because everyone on my moms side has very very very thin hair on the very top and it was from the pregnancy shedding and never grew back. So the biotin in that conditioner and the shampoo as well I think is what let me keep mine!

This time its just grease. I could have washed my hair in the morning and by bedtime UGH. And I did nothing but play with my son in the livingroom without even going outside once. The fix this time has been herbal essence tea tree conditioner and shampoo for the hair, and Dial coconut water body wash had sorta been cutting it but not really. Atomic recommended the St Ives Tea Scrub (doesnt smell like tea tree oil as opposed to the shampoo that is very strong but will clear up those pregnancy sinuses LOL)

Im the same as you 3boys. Dont even let me walk past the wrong lotion and its breakouts! The tea scrub doesn't set me off and its such a fabulous exfoliant especially on my forehead (the only place im dry and cracky from winter) Soft as a baby's butt and breakouts are disappearing. I may continue to use this stuff as a regular if my non pregnancy skin will take it.

Hip pain Im used to on the normal basis from an old injury, the SPD makes it feel like I did it yesterday. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and anyone can get it. If any of you start to feel tight in the groin or a pain just above/almost on your lady parts stop what you are doing and slow down or you're next lol Dont get it as bad as me!

    Have to vent a little.

Yesterday I posted a status on my facebook for my friends and family to take guesses on what they think the babies are. Well of course DH ignorant family ( a few that commented) posred both boys because their family doesnt make girls ughh!! Soo annoying!! I will be happy with both boys, both girls or one of each but I hate that people think that because my DH side of the family is mostly guys that our kids will be all boys. None of them know I swayed, some of my family know but not much about it.
    Rant over lol.
