Yeah what is up with 25?!?! I remember a friend telling me that 25 changes things, and it totally did metabolism-wise. I'm 33 now and haven't really noticed another shift, but I distinctly remember noticing that right around 25 things did seem to stick to me a bit more!

i guess thats when our bodies just naturally start to decline in strength. our peak strength is like early 20s for girls and i think mid 20s for guys and they start to dwindle later 20s or early 30s i THINK. doesnt that suck? i mean we just have until age 25 and then thats it! we actually have to WORK at it after that!!! lame!

I had a lot of ice cream and milky ways - probably more than with my boys, but I still indulged from time to time with them. Before newest DD, though, we were having a lot of ice cream!

Hmmm, I have a major sweet tooth, and boys . . . not into salt at all. I wonder if high sweets but low nutrients sway girl, whereas sweets in moderation (like I eat them--for dessert after a balanced meal) could sway boy?

Yes because i love the sweets but they are added to my regular foods so its probably screaming to my body that i have tons of nutrients AND calories, its good all around.

And the funny thing is I would only drink diet soda Like I was scared of sugar?!?! So funny.

Anyhow I would estimate most days my calorie intake was near 3000 and to be honest, probably 50% of that was straight processed carbs. I ran tons and just ate whatever I wanted. It really was pretty normal for me to eat 2-3 candy bars a day, and that alone is at least 800 calories.
I have said this before (sorry!!) but that seems to be one commonly recurring theme with girl moms. A lot of sugar, and then fake sugar too.
