While technically, the coffee with milk and sugar is a cheat, it doesn't amount to much (scientific explanation - becuase your blood sugar goes up naturally in the morning anyway the coffee with milk and sugar just kinda gets absorbed into that anyway and may even help lower your blood sugar later on in the day) and it was a cheat that I had every day and still got my DD.

WHat you may want to try is also putting in a little cinnamon (just a pinch, it really takes very little) in the coffee, will help keep blood sugar lower.

You're doing fine! Keep it up
That's GENIUS!!! I don't do sugar but even with low fat coffee mate I HEAP it in lol I can't help it.... But the cinnamon is genius!

Thanks atomic! Added cinnamon to my coffee today! Attempt is in two weeks so I doubt it will make a difference but still tasty!

Well, atomic thinks I shouldn't wait bc of my age. I really wanted to give this sway my all and now I'm just not sure i what I want. I have 4 boys and I'll be 39 in June. Last baby. I wanted to give the diet 3 months and then make my attempt in June, and then July if I was unsuccessful. She seems to feel very strongly about it, but I'm waiting to hear what she says.

I would have to agree with Atomic here. I just turned 39 and we have been TTC for over a year, swaying for 6 months (yikes). I had an issue with tubes possibly being blocked but that is cleared now. My AMH is low and my FSH was high last cycle. I am not saying it is the same for you but I am honestly shocked how long this is taking me. DS 1 was a first cycle attempt and DS 2 took about 3 cycles. He is 2.5 so not THAT long ago but enough. Just do your sway the best you can. I understand how you feel and this is my last baby also. I would LOVE a daughter and that is why I am doing this but also in the end, I want another baby for our family.
    Good luck to you!!

Ya I get it, it could be that it just doesn't happen. Ds4 is 1. He was conceived 1st attempt. Idk. I guess I just partially feel like what's 3 months, but then partially I DO Agree. She said 6 weeks tops. That would be splitting the difference... Idk if it's a good enough time for a proper sway though. I've been on and off this forum since we had ds4 , knowing we were going to do this but then AF took forever to come back (same as with ds3, he was 10 months, ds4 12 months when af came back) and so I've not been doing anything other than skipping breakfast. I was eating high fat, high protein and snacking. Guess I'm scared.
