I don't think I'll ever be able to run. I have tried off and on since I was in my teens and get injured literally every time. I think I have really flexible joints or something. BUt I DO need to get back into good shape, I just do better with things like Taebo and stepping where I can adjust the intensity to not kill myself. Thank you guys though!!!!

I actually have such loose/hypermobile joints one dr thought I had a severe disorder. It's all about easing into things. But if you don't really enjoy running I don't recommend it.

How about yoga? I use this very fast pace intense yoga video. ..it kicked my ass! (And I'd been running 7 miles a day plus doing 20 minutes pilates daily for months.) I felt like I had been run over by a truck the next day. But within weeks I had more muscle than I've ever had and was super toned and fit. It was amazing!

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I actually did get injured. I had a twisted pelvis which was so painful and I could hardly walk. I had to go to the chiropractor and had massages weekly it came good tho.. luckily!!

Ouch that sounds dreadful! I must say, every time I've tried to push myself too far/much early on after not having run in a while (ie always) I end up injuring myself. I'm so impatient and anxious to get back up to my previous fitness level but it really shouldn't be forced.

Yep I'm in the same boat so what I do is run for a bit and the hoof it. If my heart rate gets too low I run again. Sometimes like 90 seconds lol then walk again. Repeat. I have a polar on order to help me make sure I've got my intensity up enough (still figuring out what "enough" is...)

I had a preconceived notion that we weren't supposed be get fit. Bogus? I thought the goal was to not build muscle and just be thin. Bc if yoga and Pilates are good for pink that's way more my style.

Well, I"m not swaying, i just need to get back in shape so I think everyone's trying to inspire me! Thanks guys!!

RE heart rate, I don't want you guys paying attention to that. Just another thing to obsess over. Just do cardio exercise that makes you breathe a little fast and keep it up for 60 minutes.

That's the reason I want it - to relax when I work out. Right now I feel im thinking about an I working enough, whereas I can set it and forget it (it will beep if I dip too low) and then I can also log the work out properly too. Maybe it's obsessing for some, but for me it's something that will make me chill a little more about it and just go work out, bc without it I "over think" it.

Hitme, my recommendation was for atomic and non pink swayers only! The yoga video I used is not relaxing at all, it's extremely intense.
