I'm right there with you on the fb issues... /: my sister in law fell pregnant with a bot while I was pregnant with a girl... She was posting so many photos talking about her son and I just couldn't do it anymore. I blocked her. We are still fb friends though, I just unfollowed her so her stuff wouldn't appear on my feed cuz it hurts so bad. It's not her fault.. I just hate feeling this way /:

Ttc2015 those are pretty boy friends foods! The milk yoghurt and cream are girlie. But the others are actually what I'm eating for TTC a boy! I've also read that flax is good for boys too.

I'm so excited but I am SO nervous to ttc.. I had very bad GD with DD.. I'm worried it'll be way worse if it happens again... Especially with my sis in laws baby coming next month... It's hard cuz she's not just a friend, she's family. So we see them all the time. I'm so scared to have another girl and come to family stuff with her girl AND boy and just be heartbroken every time we gather with family.. I'm terrified to say the least that it won't work..

Anyone planning a Sept/Oct/Nov 2015 sway? Chat here!

I'm so glad my DH is on board. He rolls his eyes every time I come up with something else swaying rated but he laughs and says he's on board for anything. So right now I have him taking tribulis, l-arginine and Coq10. and the HE diet as well!

I have been so focused on HT since the end of last year, have been obsessed with researching that so this is something totally new. It's really time consuming! If someone could pm me with basics of what it avoid and what to eat I'd be so grateful. From the gist of it I can see that you need to burn fat, skip breakfast, no bananas, low meat (and no charcuterie meat, minimal red meat), high calcium, low sodium and sugar? I have recently changed my diet to cut out lots of processed food so think I will be ok to restrict father, just need to know what is ok to eat. And alcohol is ok?!
The Complete Index will help you get to grips hun. Its taken me months to understand as much as I do now but I remember feeling SO overwhelmed when I started reading stuff. And lots can seem contradictory so don't be shy about asking questions on this thread. We can all learn together
As for foods, this link will help a bit http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html Main foods to limit or avoid are red meat, fortified foods like cereal and grains etc, full fat dairy is a no-no though I DO have about 10ml in my coffee. Keep your blood sugar low, fast before breakfast ideally 12-15 hours. You can eat sugar, its good for empty calories. I don't bother with sodium limits, newest threads are saying it probably doesn't sway either way and if you stress over sodium content (cause its in EVERYTHING!) you will be swaying blue by stressing. Alcohol is swaying pink.

Calcium and magnesium are not recommended and have been found to sway blue. Cranberry for DH is ok, anything from 1500mg to 10000mg, best to start o a small dose and increase as needed. Cran for DW is not recommended.

With respect to timing, this link http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html is a very good essay explaining why timing is thought to not much matter in a girl sway. The sway tactics getting best results right now are: change of diet (mostly LE, though some are following a modified PCOS version, the FGD or Atomics fertility diet which is different to LE as it raises fertility if you are going too hardcore LE that you may risk O) We had multiple trys in my fertility window when ttc our boys, with other factors in play like my diet and moderate exercise I fully believe thats what swayed blue. We will be doing the every 4 days method this time as I get too stressed waiting on a +opk.
As for your theory, I reckon we all might have similr ones. I keep thinking the fact that my boys were conceived with 3 weeks of each other 2 years apart resulting in two Feb due dates might affect what gender I have lol. Plus for the past 3 years I have watched more and more women in my community deliver boys during spring months and autumn months and LOADS of girls are born in summer (well June and July mostly) so I would looooove a June due date next year.

Sorry if dome of my answers seem a little short or abrupt, I'm typing with one hand while consoling my teething 1 year old with the other lol

I take it these are not approved on girl diets?

I am skipping breakfast and having a large smoothie as a mid morning snack or lunch (depending how hungry I am!) I'm putting in spinach, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, natural yoghurt, milk and also chia seeds and flax seeds. Do you think this is girl friendly?!
Those foods are very blue friendly. Very nutrient dense and healthy fats = no no on LE

I would drop the spinach and blueberries, make sure the yoghurt is low fat, milk is low fat and drop the flax, maybe someone else can chime in about the chia seeds though I am thinking anything like that is blue.

I had similar issues with my BIL and his wife. She made no secret that she wanted only girls and said if she had a boy she would hand it back!!! My DS1 was 4 months old when she delivered her first DD and it broke my heart. I actually cried SO hard visiting them the day after she was born but I passed it off as happy tears. I couldn't hold it in. GD is so horrid, hopefully it won't be an issue for us ladies soon x

I feel the exact same nan!! I remember how much I wanted DS2 to be a girl and when we went for the 20 week scan and my intuition was confirmed. I was happy and sad at the same time. I hid it from everyone though, even when we got the comments of "Aww another boy!" and a big sad pitying face. My SIL who has FIVE girls and no boys said she couldn't see why we were getting so excited when we already had a boy at home. It HURT getting those comments - not my feelings per se, moreso the fact that every child is to be celebrated and I hated feeling like people weren't excited for his arrival if that makes sense...

Yeah me and my SIL just don't get along much either... /: so that makes it worse. But that's crazy my DD will be 4 months old when she gives birth to her DS next month. I'm terrible but I so don't want to go visit but I have to.. But I don't want to so bad!!! Ugh..

DH gets upset sometimes when he sees me on these sites so much. And he's SO worried we will get another girl but only for my sake. DH wants all girls... And I wanted all boys lol... Well now I'd taken even just one boy.. Lol! So I guess if it's another girl at least he'll get what he wanted /:

I can totally see where you are coming from. It will be HARD, theres no denying that but unfortunately sometimes we need to do these hard things and then try move on from it. I truly hope you will have a successful blue sway hun, it sounds excellent! xx

There's no need for your DH to take Cranberry if he is already taking OLE. They do the same thing so shouldn't be taken together. He can either of them. The only reason I have DH taking Cranberry and not OLE is cause there's not a huge amount of stats at the moment for OLE. Atomic recommended cran recently over OLE but purely because OLE is relatively new for swaying and she can't advise based on minimal results.

I don't avoid peppers. They are a staple here. I don't use a whole lot but for the minimal calories and nutrients they are worth it. I did read that somewhere here too when I first joined but I have since read lots more threads with pink swayers eating them and it hasn't mattered to their sway. The main thing to remember is to avoid foods that raise your blood sugar and keep it high for a long period - like garlic. That's not to say I don't use it in my cooking but I would use the barest amount whereas before I would be using bucket loads!!

    Thanks for all you help!!
Sometimes feel I am going round in circles! I make my mind up on sway idea and then read something that makes me totally second guess myself.

It is only my husband who knows that I am swaying and it is tricky hiding it from others, especially as my family are all big meat eaters and snackers. At the moment I am getting away with saying I am on a big diet.

My mum, sisters and sister in law would actually be interested/ amused if they knew, but just want to keep it quiet at the moment so I don't get everyone getting their hopes up for a girl!! (Sister has 2 sons, sister in law has 2 sons and I have 2 sons!!!! No girls in my family( )

My brother in laws annoying girlfriend has just announced she is 4 months pregnant (no phone call, found out on Facebook!)

I just know it will be a girl grrr! She lost weight earlier this year, smokes, drinks a lot , exercises and apparently this was a surprise baby. I am bracing myself for the 20 week scan announcing the news of a girl on the way, then it will be girl baby shopping and nursery decoration argh!
