Omg that's exactly what I said! They announced they were pregnant in January and I was like its a boy.. I know it is.. It is GOING to be a boy...
Then they nonchalantly invited us to a cook out in March... (They NEVER have people over.. They are so antisocial..) and I was like "it's a gender reveal.. I know it is...and I'm 8 months preggo so I'm not going that's my excuse" And DH wouldn't believe me... But I was so dead set on it being a gender reveal..
Sure enough his grandma called the day before and ask if we were coming to the GENDER REVEAL PARTY! I was like I so called that! And they didn't tell us it was a gender reveal to sneakily get us to come.. Cuz they knew I wanted a boy so bad.. Seriously they are so conniving... I'm so glad I called what it was ahead of time so I didn't go /: oh and to make matters worse- they didn't come to our gender reveal party cuz "they had a cold and didn't wanna give me a cold..." When really I think they were worried that I would have the first boy of the family.. Anyways my rant is over nowstupid family drama lol
thank you though for the encouragement!!

That all sounds very familiar!!
I would never tell her I wanted a girl, it would just be rubbed in my face at every opportunity forevermore! She will know though
It's so difficult not to get angry/jealous at people on Facebook!! It is a platform for boasting!
I find that I am hiding more and more people's pages on Facebook! It's basically just tv programmes that I get updates from now haha! Goodbye friends, I will allow your Facebook updates again once I have conceived a girl haha(2010)

Oh no I'm so confused now!!! Thanks so much for the links, I will read up tonight. With my glass of wine - like I need an excuse to have the odd glass of wine!!! It is confusing, as alcohol is quite calorie heavy. I had thought the point of a girl diet was to make you more acidic, less alkaline, but it seems things have moved on here and it's now about vp burning fat and basically starving yourself?!!!! My diet used to be very carb heavy, I ate a lot of pasta, cheese, potatoes. I really need to hpget things clear on my head. I also read aspartame was good for girls, so diet coke is good? And peppermint tea?!!! I have also read though that more girls are born after natural disasters where resources are scarce, I think girls survive better under harsh circumstances.
Re supplements - so no calcium and magnesium?!!! I had thought they were good for girls! But cranberry for DH but not me? Should I be taking any supplements or just starve my body of as many nutrients as possible? Sorry, I will read up tonight.
I'm quite a stress head so could explain why I have boys!
What's the every 4 days thing?
Is anyone going to get their husband to abstain for a week before dtd? I have read conflicting reports about this.
Really appreciate all your help, thank you so much.
Re FB I also know where you re coming from. Every time I hear of someone having a girl I get a physical pain. The day Princess Charlotte was born was the day AF started after our HT attempt and I knew my girl hadn't stuck. I was so so miserable and down for ages. I have a lovely sister in law, but I think she will try for no 2 soon and I'm so scared about falling pregnant at the same time as her. She has a boy and I've always been worried about feeling sad if she had a girl. I don't think I could cope if I was pregnant with a boy while she was expecting a girl. I would actually love her to have a girl, then I would have a niece and that would be amazing, a special girl in the family to be close to. It's just very hard to accept it won't happen to me, and seeing so many of my friends and family with that mother daughter bond that I crave so much.3 beautiful boys, longing for a sister for them to complete our family

Hi there
From what I gather, the magnesium and calcium etc is more of the old school way of swaying. A similar website called in gender seems to promote this.
This website is more about creating an environment friendly to girls, which seems to be a body that is going through harder times but still healthy.
I don't think it's about starving yourself, but eating within the daily allowances and not snacking. If you look at the amounts you are allowed you can actually create filling and healthy meals .
Sometimes I feel like I am studying for an exam with this swaying thing! I have read more essays and studies than I ever did at university hahaThere is a lot to read through, but it is definitely worth it, although I still ask questions all the time lol!
Excerise is also encouraged, for me this is a huge change but giving it a try anyway!
I just new princess Kate would have a girl! The woman is perfection for goodness sake ! GrrrrLast edited by jennypenny; July 16th, 2015 at 12:47 PM.

Wow you ladies have been active! That's great!
Welcome cmiller! I have a personalized plan aswell and it's great. It helps you A LOT! I have the 21 day meal plan too and first thought I would follow that but I haven't eaten anything from that plan. I don't even know why. I just figured out what to eat to be in limits and have quite the same everyday (boring I know). But for you that can be very helpful!
The pepper thing is making me confused lol! I have a printed list of grade a, b, c etc foods and it says peppers are grade a food and are free food on LE. Do I have a list which has an error or what's going on. I know this isn't a big deal but still intrested. I asked Atomic and I'm waiting for her answer.
Ttc, I know it can be very confusing! I have been studying swaying here about a year now and still have a lot questions! Those links are going to be very helpful for you. I don't think this is a starvation diet. I'm actually quite surprised that I'm not that hungry. At first I was really afraid that I'm going to be starving all the time but I'm not. White wine and light beer is good for a pink sway. Yes they have calories but you just count it in your days totals and you'll be in limits. I'm really sorry that HT didn't work for you. I can only imagine how that must feel. Hugs.
Have you ladies told anyone about swaying, other than your DHs? I haven't. I don't know if want to tell anyone at any point. But sometimes it would be so much easier to be on a diet if people knew. I haven't even told anyone how much I want a girl. Except for DH and two friends.2010 (confirmed boy)

My immediate family knows we're going to be TTC in the fall and that we are trying to do what we can to have a girl, but that's it. When I try to talk about specifics (diet limits, exercise, etc) with my mom or sister they act like it's all ridiculous, so I don't say much about it. My poor DH gets his ear talked off about "today I read" all evening haha
