It did the same thing last month... I had 4 pretty dark days but one super dark positive. I don't know what it means but if it keeps happening each month I could be potentially missing the mark every time.

If it is every month you may be having weak surges. They eventually get the job done but it takes awhile. I think you will benefit A LOT from charting. I helps take some of the guesswork out of it.

You can if you want to get into the habit of it! Get a feel for everything. You may or may not temp during AF... that is up to you and whether you temp orally or vaginally. But I think getting a running start will help you next cycle. It's a major long shot, seeing as how charting is about the big picture, but there is a marginal chance we might even be able to see if you have O'd if your temps are high enough!

You said you wouldn't feel ok adding an attempt so I'd say to wait until the 4 day mark. You wouldn't want to end up mad at yourself, blaming yourself if you get an opposite. Only add in an attempt if you have to or if you could live the rest of your days content with that decision if you were to get an opposite.

How do you know it's Evap? Im unfamiliar with that. Perhaps mine is too - I felt it was very light, but no AF is a good sign for both of us fx

I know it's an evap because it's barely visible. I had one a few days ago too.

I'm losing hope for this cycle. I was so positive before but now I'm thinking that it isn't going to happen....

Yours are lines, not evaps! evaps have no color. They are greyish or shiney lines where a pink or blue line should be and usually show up after the time limit as the test dries.

Mine show up within the correct time limit but they're so light that it's like my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Since July was a BFN for me I am moving to August, I was on vacation last week so it was nice taking a break from everything. Dropping the wheatgrass this month and haven't had any grapefruit juice or lemon water, might try to add the fruit juices back in this week. Still taking all my vitamins and plan on using Preseed with many attempts. August is month 4 TTC, so fingers crossed this is the month. Currently CD9 and will start testing with OPK's tonight.
