Question time again 😂
Just signed up with ff and entering details of my last few cycles. In July I had a luteal phase of 12 (we weren't ttc that month but i used an opk just to see) and this months LP is 10. Im unaware if this has been an issue in the past as i have never used opks before. I just assumed it was 14 days like everyone else. Anyone else have this issue and is there a reason for it/can it be improved or fixed? I am 6 months post partum so im not sure if this could be a reason why also
Thanks ladies

Netti my af this cycle has been quite light compared to normal to. I wouldn't stress on it
I would start using opks at cd6 or 7 if last cycle was 24 days then you are covered if you o early as in you won't miss the surge. I know its hard to relax but if you can just go with whatever happens it will be easier on you mentally. I've nearly pulled my hair out wondering whats going on with my cycles but this month I'm thinking "whatever" in a way lol. Just going to use opks do one attempt at pos opk and hope for the best. I'm just so sick of analyzing my ever changing cycle that I'm really happy being quite blase and laid back this time
hoping it'll do the trick

oh and in relation to lt phase I'd see what it is this cycle and go from there (which fx you wont have to as you'll have a bfp!)

Thanks pbn. I was just shocked more than not having a bfp lol. My cycles have been abit all over the place since my youngest was born in Feb.
I have 5 opks left looks like i will need to invest do you know a brand that is reasonably priced or where i can get them. So far ive been using first response and i think the kit is about $27 but thats with 7 opks and 1 hpts

Wow that's expensive! I got the same first response 7pk opk plus hpt test last cycle for $14 on special at woolies. Think they are normally around $17? I know they are dearer but I'm using the cb dual digital again this cycle - picked up at chemist warehouse for $40. You get 10 opk test sticks and I have found them fantastic! Seemed to have issues getting a pos opk on dip tests that's why I started using digi.

I had a short Lp too, and that was with Clomid... Then I had a normal month.
Also I went into my 3rd and final month with 6 OPKS lol! I decided not to buy more and just tested at a sane time of the month (instead of peeing on stick after stick on the days they were Tyl silly stark white). Made it less stressful!

I wouldn't be too concerned over a LP of 10/12 days, apparently anything from 10-14 is normal but if it's less than 10 days it could be an issue.
I haven't charted a great deal in the past, only prior to my last bub and FF tells me my average LP is 10 days and I have had no problems
