September 27th, 2015, 11:02 PM #93Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

Hi, ladies! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to have found this thread! It's hard to be ttc and have no one to talk to about how frustrating it is.
My AF arrived on Saturday morning, so now we're onto our third month. I've been on the LE diet for 13 weeks at this point, and I should ovulate right around Oct. 8 or so. We got pregnant with our son by accident, and it's very, very different to be using opks and temping and checking my cervix and obsessing. I have to remind myself that it's normal for it to take a bit and not to panic, but it's hard. I'm 36 and my husband is 39, so I do worry a bit about our age. When I mentioned that to my midwife at my annual in July, she told me the practice currently had TWO women who were pregnant at age 51(!!!), so I shouldn't worry. It's hard not to, though!
Anyway, thanks for being here, and here's hoping we all get our BFP this month! Properly color coded dust to everyone!
Also, I HATE the 2ww. It's WAY worse than waiting to O.Last edited by One Kid's Mama; September 27th, 2015 at 11:34 PM.
