Oh no!!! You finally got a pos OPK and now he's having second thoughts? My hubby is very sentimental. So whenever I can see him waivering I pull out old photos/videos of the kids as babies and show them to him. Also, get him to watch One Born Every Minute with you, this works like a treat for me! We watched an episode last night that had DH in tears 😁 to be honest I know 4 kids will be challenging, but I keep telling hubby to keep the future in mind. A big family around the Christmas dinner table, lots of grandkids.... It's so much more than just another little person to look after and feed.

I am on about CD 4-5, having had my Mirena out a few days before AF meants AF came a bit early. My bleeding is weird so it will be interesting to see when I stop bleeding and when I O. If it was textbook I should be having our attempt around 20-23rd Feb. I have to admit I'm so nervous. I also get quite bad morning sickness so I'm extra nervous about that.

I'm trying to relax because I know it's better for a pink sway but I'm feeling like I'm slightly obsessing over it all 😂

Well I'm wishing you the best of luck for tonight then!!!!!

Hi familymatters - I'll be getting my mirena out before my attempt too. Have you thought about doing an attempt every 4 days in case the opks aren't accurate right after removal? I think that's what I'm going to do.

Hi inforthree! I asked atomic a few questions about the Mirena ages ago, and she suggested to BD at the first sign of a pos OPK. However it's different for everyone. Why are you afraid the OPKs won't be accurate after removal? I had my mirena taken out a day or so before AF was due, so I'm hoping I'll O as per normal (which for me is anywhere between CD 20-23). I'd be devastated though if I didn't O this month!!!

You know I'll have to check my plan. My plan recommended every 4 days until first AF after mirena, I thought it was because I might miss o with the opks. I'll check.

There is almost always more than one reason I recommend e4d right out of the starting gate so it was more than just that IFT. Without going and looing at your old questionnaires I cannot tell you but PLEASE just do what is in the plan, the plans outweigh stuff in the forums. I make the plans for you guys with all your info in front of me all at the same time and it all stands together (so because I recommended X, then I recommend Z, instead of Y) , instead of a question here or there in the forum with people who may not even be in the same situation as you or who have different sets of recommendations all put together.
!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
