Re: my boy diet weight gain (I did update my sway with this too) I did the boy diet 9 months. BUT ... when I was "girl" diet I was still eating 2500 calories a day at least, but loads of it, literally half of it, was sugar... candy, etc. And I ran 40-60 miles a week so I just burned everything off. When I started the boy diet I dropped the exercise to 10 miles a week, plus 3x a week weight training, and kept my intake around 2200-2500 but it was all good, nutrient rich foods. I gained about 5 lbs (I think due to the loss of so much cardio) and then the last 3-4 weeks before our attempt I really amped up my food intake to gain another 2. Since the BFP I've gained about 7lbs.

So B, what your saying is that you have to actually work out not to gain weight??? Yeah, I don't like it. There has to be another way!

begonia- I was the same HUGE GD when I had GD the first time and almost nothing the next time!

Oh that is good to hear Flava, that it really can happen that way ... because I feel like I will be OK! Which is good because:

I'm definitely NOT going to have them tell me in the room though, I'll have it written down and open it later. I'm having some minor guilt about not telling DH about it ... but I really want him to have a surprise! I just can't take the not knowing myself... I'm sure it is a girl at this point and I think part of me just wants to rip that band-aid off. I love the IDEA of a surprise but I HATE the mental torture; I just want to enjoy this last pregnancy and I think I'll be better able to do that w/o the big WHAT IS IT hanging over my head. It is ZERO fun for me. But I want it for DH and this is the only way I can see us both getting what we want out of it! I just won't be able to tell anyone IRL, and I am confident I can do that. So ... here's hoping I have as much fun as Jen did today!

She's been in the 80th to 90th percentile at her other checks but we haven't had her four month appt yet. Usually mine are big the first 6 months then slim down some!

I had a japanese Dr once who said with a thick accent "breast fed baby, always bigger first 6 months" You had to be there, it cracks me up but is true. She's tall though so might stay that way.

Has anyone ever been nausous while Oing? I just woke feeling yucky. I took all my normal supps and even some garlic capsules and did not yak, I have been eating like normal....just feel kind of off. Oh, and I don't have a temp.....hmmm

Yes, that's the 1 sign I found out I had. I used to get nervous I was pregnant when I was younger cuz I would get nauseas close to AF. Turns out I was O. Very weird and took me till I was 35 and swaying to figure that out.
