Hello, I have never posted here before, but was hoping I could get some useful feedback. I know this is a gender swaying forum, but I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a twin sway.
I never had any trouble conceiving. 1st or second attempt for both my kids. I'm currently breastfeeding and want to try for twins.
Is it best to try conceiving when your period has not returned? Or is it best to try when the cycle has returned? My cycle has not yet returned. Can anyone answer this for me?
I do not want to take clomid or serious fertility Aids. I would only consider soy isoflavins, but not until my baby is starting to wean and that would mean return of period.
I'm currently taking/doing:
-Prenatal (cheap gummies)
-1000 MCG high quality folate
-eating lots of dairy, spinach, asparagus
My plan is to take for the next 3-6 months:
-evening primrose oil
-l arganine
-two different brands of cassava supplement (one from forever blessed and one from cassava shop) I will double the dose, I figured it would not be harmful?
-royal jelly (although I'm not sure if I should take it while breastfeeding. Probably won't.)
Can anyone see anything wrong with my plan? Should I just forget the supplements and start trying now before my period has returned? Does it make that much of a difference?
Also, I do not want to sway pink or blue. I'm fine with either gender or any combination. I hope some one can give me some advice!

I can't say I did anything specific to get my twins (I was swaying girl on LE diet). I started out with triplets though. One didn't continue to develop. I'm guessing my age, multiple pregnancies, and family history of twins played a part in me conceiving multiples.
I read somewhere that the cassava that's supposed to sway twins is what tapioca is, but I can't recall where I read that. I'm not really convinced there is anything you can do to up your chances of multiples other than fertility treatments.DH (43), DW (40)

Hi Kingdom!!!
Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to get twins anyway. I'd have you take 1600 mcg folate and lots lots lots of full fat dairy.
PLEASE PLEASE do NOT NOT NOT take EPO, l-arganine, cassava, or royal jelly when nursing. It is NOT worth the risk of the unknowns. EPO is a blood thinner that may make your baby have bleeding and bruising issues. EPO and l-arganine affect hormone levels, royal jelly has actually KILLED people and may make both you and your baby more sensitive to bee and insect allergies for the rest of your lives. Cassava is just too big an unknown (people eat it in their diets but you are talking about taking medicinal quantities of it, even normal things can be harmful if you eat too much.) Additionally, they may make it take way longer for yoru cycle to come back so you're doing the whole program more harm than good.
What I would also do is get yourself some Preseed or sperm friendly lube like that and have unprotected sex every 2-4 days because this means you'll be ready with some swimmers on hand to catch the egg whenever they show up.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I got my twins the first egg while breastfeeding and also one of mine vanished too. I had had one period but it had been months earlier and then it went away again for 4 or 5 months and then I never had another real period, I did have a bleed but that was one of my babies going. :/ I was already pregnant when that occured. WEnt on to have a normal single baby 9 months later.
That having been said, I was also 39 years old (age = more twins) and have strong family history of twins (my maternal uncles are fraternal twins) so I suspect those things were swaying a lot stronger than breastfeeding was!Last edited by atomic sagebrush; February 28th, 2016 at 02:20 PM.

and I do want to second this - I really, really do not think that swaying twin is something that works. It's just too hit and miss. Clomid is the best way to do it. Aside from that I have seen gobs of people try all this stuff and it doesn't work for virtually all of them.

Thank you! I'm still round the clock feeding with no cycle yet! So not sure if I'm fertile or not. I really want to conceive while breastfeeding to try for twins, but don't want to hinder my milk supply before my babe is done nursing for the very small chance....
