My first was a girl and I was home free. My second was a boy and I felt like crap. This time is the 3rd time and I have felt worse (though it seems like it MAY be easing up at about 9 weeks) and for a whole host of reasons I feel like this may be a girl but who knows. They do say every pregnancy is different though.I will say my 1st and 2nd were vastly different and were also different genders.

Mine started at 5 weeks and hasn't let up at all so I'm throwing in the towel at almost 9 weeks and getting a script for Zofran. I'm down 10lbs. due to so much nausea. I don't throw up I just gag and retch all day and night at most smells and the sight of food. I have to coax myself to eat. I didn't lose this much weight with either boy, I was nauseous but still hungry. I wish I could have felt this way before getting pregnant, the LE diet would have been a breeze!! HA! I keep telling myself that now I'm down the 10 lbs. I wanted to lose all along before I got pregnant but I'm also a little worried about our little bean. And I am putting no stock whatsoever in my symptoms, I know they vary with each pregnancy and that many women get worse symptoms with each one. I'm probably one of those lucky ladies...

My first 3 were boys and I didn't have 5 seconds in a day where I wasn't miserably nauseated. My 4th was a girl and the only major symptom I had was a non-stop head ache, but was doomed from the word go. This time is much more like my DDs preg... which doesn't offer me the most security. I have more symptoms but none that impact my function 99% of the time. Not really speculating on gender though.

I think I was this nauseous with my first but I can't really remember. I just tried to workout this morning and had to lay down because I feel so sick. I feel like I've read equal amounts of stories where people had completely different pregnancies with each or the exact same with each gender so I don't know.

I think some women feel worse with each subsequent pregnancy and some probably do have similar symptoms for each gender..there's no way to tell which you are until you experience each I guess. It's a long and difficult wait finding out though so it's kind of fun speculating
Crd, sorry you're so miserable. When I feel bad I need to remember it could be so much worse. I loathe throwing up so at least I'm not in that boat. Gl on feeling bettet!Mama to one 6 yr oldand one 20 month old

I agree it is fun speculating. I wish I could at least do that! But with each of my boys being so different I feel like I can't at all cause I have nothing to go off of.

Momofthree all of your boy pregnancies were different?
On another note, is anyone showing? If I hadn't just had a scan that showed only one baby I would seriously think there were two in there. I can't believe how much tummy I already have. I'm guessing it's because I was JUST pregnant. Lol.Mama to one 6 yr oldand one 20 month old

How old is your youngest? And yeah that'd probably do it.... it's like our uterus' just know what's up.... again. I'm just bloated a little, nothing I can't hide.... but I'm still extremely early.
Yeah all 3 were different. First, vomiting all day every day first trimester, second nothing... felt fantastic, third lots of nausea but never got sick. So... no guessing based on symptoms for me! I'm just going to assume boy lol(2009)

Just bloat here which is worse at night. Last night I looked prob close to 4 months. Haven't really had a lot of bloat until very recently. Starting to feel "full" in my lower abdomin though.
