Oh man I would really struggle not finding out. I think it would be a lot of fun anticipation but I too am a planner. I have clothes to get rid of and a room and dresser to fill. I understand why you would struggle with that choice!

He doesn't want to find out. I do, but I always do. I'm a planner and I don't like to fly by the seat of my pants! Ha!

I am the same. Even if it's not my dg I still need to know, I like to shop. A lot. And I hate gender neutral stuff. And I sew, I like to spend as much of my pregnancy making things for baby as possible.

Is he ok with you finding out or is he insisting you dont? I couldn't do it, I'd have to tell him to shove it :-p

Another peak at my bean today Still doing well with a HB @ 164! A bit of a wiggle worm too. Entire u/s was less than 1 minute long (just checking for HB) and arms were reaching, legs were squirming and head was bobbing away lol. It makes my heart smile every time I see that bean is dong well or hear the HB on doppler. I honestly didn't expect to get this far so knowing bean is doing well makes me so happy. We have another appt in a couple weeks for testing and such, then an appt with OB @ 14 weeks and if I can make it to 17 weeks we will officially have passed the latest point where one of our bean's hearts stopped too soon. Seems so far away but feeling the tiniest bit of hope we might actually make it

I'm so very sorry Purple. I'm also sad to lose you from our group but can't imagine how much your heart is hurting. Please take all the time you need to care for yourself. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. My heart hurts for you and I hope someday if you decide to try again you get your beautiful rainbow baby.

I don't mind not shopping (and I'm usually a shopper! Ha!) but the idea of trying to sell all of these boy clothes with a newborn baby (if it's a girl) overwhelms me! I don't like clutter and I'm not a pack rat. I like to keep things simple and only keep what we use so I would like to purge now if I need to. He doesn't mind if I find out, he understands. I think I might find out and then just not tell him. I also wonder if the boys would bond a little better if they knew if they were getting another brother or a sister as they are really excited about a baby joining us. I emailed my doctor and told her to check the box to indicate gender. She said it would be 1-2 weeks before we got the test results so I still have some time to think it over. I wish I enjoyed the element of surprise more! LOL

Crd5ed- we weren't going to find out because we are too scared to hear boy (it would be our 3rd) but then I keep thinking how nice it would be to get rid of all our blue clothes in the attic if it's a girl and I could buy girl stuff!!! I have heard of several people finding out and keeping it from their spouses or other family members.
