Going to have an ultrasound in a few hours. Haven't felt a single symptom in 3 days except for the fact that my face is broken out. Kinda worried.

I personally despise him for a long list of reasons and want him completely cut off from the family. DH says we can't just write off family. I fail to see why not. Nobody would put up with that behavior in anyone else and still want to be involved with them. I don't think it should matter if it's family or not.

My mom was happy, MIL was indifferent like meh, whatever. I haven't told my dad, but we aren't close and he doesn't live that close. He wouldn't care one way or the other though. It doesn't affect him beyond needing to learn two more names, so he mostly just stays out of things.

FIL has been ranting on Facebook about it all night though. I have him blocked because of his random rants directed at me in the past, but my mom emailed me the screenshots. I'm pretty sure he's going to ruin my Easter announcement now by telling everyone before then. The man is an obnoxious control freak and totally fits the characteristic personality traits of a narcissist. Always tells you what to do, thinks he's the expert on everything and puts others down for differing opinions, pretends he never said what he did and acts like anyone is crazy for saying he did, insults your intelligence. All that fun stuff. I've had nothing but problems with him over the years and feeling nothing but burning hatred toward him. He's done and said so many things that are completely out of line, lies to my face, and has no concept of or respect for boundaries. As awful as it sounds, I eagerly await the day he dies.

So......DH told FIL I was pregnant today. His response "That's not good at all. You have too many kids already. You're so stupid for doing this and should abort." Yeah, great. DH didn't even bother to tell him we were having twins. I expected a negative reaction, but I'm wondering how much DH cleaned up the response before relaying it to me. Oh well. We're still doing our official announcement on Easter.

What is wrong with people? If you aren't he one who has to pay for them or raise them, I couldn't imagine why you would say something like this. People are horrific.

It's a small town. Used to be... cleaner. There are so many transients and druggies now, it sucks. I hope we can manage to move back to Orange County some day. The cost of living is just SO much cheaper here. Makes it hard.

Yeah it's a cute town with beautiful views but I noticed the druggies right off the bat. Haha. So cal is SO much more expensive then up here.

Family or not, if you cause me harm, drama or negative energy, you're out. I don't talk to my grandma for this very reasons and have limited contact with my mom. I'm sorry you have to deal with it.

They got back to me and said they couldn't tell based on my image ( which was clear as day) and said they would offer a 50/50 guess of boy. LOL. A couple of the ladies here thought girl. I just can't wait for my scan in a little over a week!

Well that's irritating haha atleast you only have a week left. I'm nervous about gender disappointment. Today I realized just how invested I am in this being a girl. I cried already because I felt like the scan says boy.
