    Swaying blue and weight?

    Hey everyone,

So I am fairly new here and just getting my self acquainted with all the information about swaying blue, and I have noticed a trend in my life and wonder if my weight will effect me with swaying blue. It seems a lot of info and people I know have girls that are heavier. With my fist DD I had been actively trying to loose weight with little success and I conceived her at around 180 lbs. With my second DD I had just finished my first marathon and I was about 170 lbs when conceiving her. Right now I am sitting at about 178 lbs (BMI 28.7) and I am worried me being heavier will sway pink. I run a lot and plan to cut back and start more weight training, but should I try to loose a little weight before starting our sway or just hold steady???

    Thanks in advance

I also wanted to add. That I struggled with yoyo dieting for a couple years before my girls and as of this january I vowed to never "go on" a diet again. I have been doing my best to just eat as balanced as I can and have and I refuse to deprive myself. I am just trying to focus on being happy with where I am. I really hope that helps my boy sway.

Yes, being heavier can sway a bit pink and I have an essay about it here big girls, little girls, and baby girls (and boys!!)

Whether or not to lose weight has more to do with whether or not you CAN - if you have a history of yo-yoing it may not be mentally good for you to try to lose a certain amount of weight, because what might happen is that you lose a bunch and gain it back, or give up without really losing anything, and then you're actually worse off for TTC a boy than if you hadn't done anything, because you've been eating restrictively.

I think that it may be best for you to focus on eating more HE Diet without gaining weigh (in the Dream Members section there is an essay called "eating smarter, not harder, for blue") and doing weight training AND moderate cardio and if a pound or two sneak off, great. If not, don't beat yourself up, it's much better to hold steady than to lose/regain or lose a ton unhealthfully right before TTC a boy.

Thanks for the advice. I have been looking through all the essays so I think I will focus on just the diet and keeping my weight steady. I'll keep looking on all the essays so I have a good handle on this diet.

if there has been a lot of weight loss eg. via low carbing/ atkins, prior to attempt, how long should we be on HE diet for, to counter balance this? longer than the 6 weeks recommended?!
