Not to mention finding childcare for an infant is next to impossible. I would have loved to have the year off and not have to worry about this aspect

In the U.S. here and I'm taking 12 weeks, 2 of which will only be paid from my vacation days

My shower was yesterday, and it was really good despite some blips on the GD scale (like people telling me they weren't going to make anything until they know the baby's gender... I just wanted to scream, "NO PINK. This is why we're publicly Team Green!").

I got two really horrible comments on how huge I was that I full on told the people was not nice, but one of them kept going on and on. I'm ~33 weeks, FTM -- do I really look awful?

Thank you! And haha yeah, I've noticed too -- stumbled on here after GD and am the crazy pregnant woman planning her sway while still pregnant! [emoji38]

I hear ya! I'm the crazy person who experienced GD BEFORE ever being pregnant!! [emoji23] It's been such a great community and I've learned so much, especially since we struggled TTC for a year, that I'll be on here for future pregnancies - swaying or not!

U look great panther. Every one telling me i look small and i m not eating. It gets me scared if my baby will be small but i guess if our drs r fine then ignore these ppl.
We r lucky to be in canada to get one yr off for maternity but ladies taxes here r killing so it equals out and so is the real estate. Its crazy.

You look amazing Throwaway!! Lol you are a model compared to me. I look like mini hippo which I Dont mind at all. I am trully sorry you got mean comments and they are always uncalled for on any pregnant woman. I have a smart mouth so even if it was family or anyone close, they'd still get a piece of my mind.
