Funny that you said Benadryl gives you RL, because I take it every night to sleep, too.I wonder if that's what's doing it for me? It does eventually knock me out, but it can take up to an hour for me sometimes. I started taking it last year... my autistic son has severe sleep issues, so I never knew when I was going to be able to sleep (i.e. when he would sleep), and I got in the habit of taking Benadryl to knock me out when I had the chance to catch some sleep. Luckily he's doing better now--not great but better. I can at least count on 4-5 good hours a night...most nights. When those hours will occur is still a bit iffy. He's going to start bunking in a different room with Daddy when new baby comes or else I'd never sleep.

Yeah, have. I tried all the normal tricks. It all backfires. Like reading amps my brain up even more. Only two things have I ever had ANY luck with is a. letting my mind wander through varies things flowing as they wish then trying to remember a random but specific portion of the thought process. If I am tired enough the time I spend desperately trying to recall will quite my brain enough, long enough to fall asleep. It can backfire pretty easy though and end up just encouraging my mind to keep going, if I am not exhausted. B: turning on a show I have seen every episode of a million times (so no risk of getting interested in a gotta watch way) turn it down to where I can BARELY hear it and face away from it. My ears straining to hear dispite my interest in following it can shut my brain up too but it's a catch 22. I don't rest well if it's not dark.

Yeah, I was puzzled at first but looked it up and appearantly it's pretty common. What dose do u take? If I take 1 pill it takes a good while to finally kick in. If I take two I start getting foggy brained and slightly off balance within 30 mins. I can stay up longer if I miscalculated and need to but once the fogginess kicks in I can lay down and be asleep in minutes.

I think I might be nesting lol. It always hits me early... prob because once I get bigger it's nearly impossible to do everything I want to do. But typically by now I am setting up stuff for the baby that we haven't even bought yet this time. So all my efforts are on silly stuff like cleaning out closets and such lol. I've been a busy little bee lately working on laundry, sorting baby clothes we do have into sizes, etc. but it just hit me this afternoon that I might be nesting because it's like it has kicked into high gear AND we rearranged our room to accommodate a crib, and other baby furniture, (baby always sleeps in our room for the first couple years) and cleaned and everything and then agreed to leave the rest until tomorrow (cleaning out the closet, uncluttering the guestroom- which has been the overflow location of choice for winter clothing, and other stuff we won't be needing soon, etc.). But the closet was driving me nuts. I felt like I wasn't done and it was seriously bugging me. So, at 8:30 at night I started tackling the closet. I am still bothered by some stuff I wanted to get done today (that I couldn't possibly accomplish tonight) but after working all day and it being after 10 pm, I am too pooped to pop, lol. Thank goodness I take something to help me sleep or I'd probably be up all night obsessing about the other stuff.

Two, I feel you. I'm really starting to WANT to nest. Unfortunately, we're in escrow on our house and have yet to find a replacement. So instead, I'm worrying about having to settle on a house I don't even like that much and figuring out how exactly we're going to move 3 garages worth of crap...with nesting in high gear, we may be getting rid of almost everything. Lol

Eek, I can't imagine feeling this way and having zero outlets for the energy (not that I have a ton of energy, my desire to get stuff done just outweighs my body's desire to take it easy). 3 garages worth of stuff... wow! I thought *I* had a lot! I've been going through purging the boy's old clothes that won't work for a girl and giving them to the local goodwill-like place (we have a goodwill too but they are much pricier and I prefer the clothes help ppl who CAN'T afford goodwill prices), and thrown out a ton of stuff that wasn't worth giving away... the trash men probably HATE us right now... I swear there were AT LEAST 8 bags of trash @ last pickup. Even with all of that there is STILL a ton of crap in this house and in our garage... but you have us beat lol. Maybe tackling it all while nesting is ideal. Getting up the gumption to do it *without* an overwhelming urge would be quite the undertaking, for me at least.
DH is wanting to tackle our garage as well. I do too but there is so much to do inside that I feel is higher priority. So I made him a deal. We are going to finish the guest room, paint (if humidity allows) the hallway and stairwell (it looks awful as it hasn't been painted in years), THEN we will tackle the garage before tackling the rest of my to-do list... heat permitting as it's been crazy hot here lately and shows no signs of cooling off and I have been sweating today INSIDE in the A/C... I have zero tolerance for heat right now. Poor DH is getting the brunt of it though. He works all week then has to help me do all the stuff I can't do myself. Poor guy isn't getting any breaks and he doesn't have the urge to get things done like I do :/Our family is complete

I want to nest and have a list of things to do. I just can't move well enough to do much of anything anymore. It triggers major spells of BH and then I need to stop and relax. That just started after I got back from my trip though, so it might be related to missing a progesterone shot that was due while I was out of the country. I get one on Monday so we'll see if that helps any. I'm getting really anxious about getting things done in time. I have to embroider and sew name labels onto their sleepers for the NICU, embroider their names onto their blankies (less important), and embroider their names onto their stuffed penguins. I also need to put together my hospital bag, although that's pretty simple since I don't need to take a ton of stuff. I also need to pack the twins' bag. I feel like I'll go into labor and be totally unprepared again, like happened with DS3.

I am starting to nest too. Stopped procrastinating on a bunch of stuff that I would normally delay because I just have to get things organized now. My hubby wishes I was like this all the time.

I tend to go through 2 nesting spells... once around this time in preg and again late in preg when, like you, it's too hard/hurts to much to do much. That's why I like to set up the crib and other big projects early (DH thinks I'm nuts!) and save the small stuff for later. Not working that way this time though lol. Hope you enjoyed your vaca
On one hand *I* wish I was like this all the time... my house is rarely, if ever, as clean as it is now lol and DH got his wish to get some work done outside today so my yard looks a lot better (I would have bet money on him wanting to tackle the garage because he brings it up ALL the time... but he wanted to clean up the yard/landscaping *shrug*). However, it'd be nice if there were a clock on it... I was up sweeping my bedroom for the 5th time at midnight last night lol. I was waiting for DH to get home and I "needed" to do SOMETHING and my body was too tired to tackle another full project so I just kept re-sweeping my room. So, if it shut itself off after like 8pm that'd be great, lol.Our family is complete
