This is silly, but I'm guessing so I'm wondering if you all would take a guess too....
Ultrasound tech said placenta was anterior and slightly right
Heart Rate was 178
Baby measured ahead (I'm certain of ovulation date)
Not revealing my sway in this post. Guess away!!!!!!!!

I had an anterior placenta when pregnant with my 2nd DS. As I had been hoping for a girl I remember I did all this research to try to figure out if an anterior placenta meant girl... Obviously it doesn't
Also, both of my boys always measured ahead too!
Congrats on baby boy!! Little boys are very fun20132015

I thought heart rate was accurate or more accurate in the last weeks of pregnancy? Or is this not true either? I hope not, cause I need to give birth in hospital so will see heart rate on monitor and i think i will freak out if it's mostly lower than 140

The study I read showed that the last WEEK of pregnancy only there was an overall difference on average between female and male pregnancies. But you have to understand that this is an AVERAGE meaning that there are many boys and many girls who fall outside of the average. It is like height, you can have a 6 ft tall woman or a 5 ft. 6 guy and you could not tell just from physical height alone, what gender a person is.
My daughter's heart rate was consistently in 120's -130's range. My boys were always, always above 150 (and one of my boys was even into the 170's regularly - he's still to this day kind of an anxious person) I kept asking the docs again and again "Is that heart rate normal" because it seemed so low compared to the others.!!! When r u due mickey2014? I wouldn't read into heart beat during birth at all, I think it's just like adults, we have periods of rest/activity and our heartbeats are continuously changing!
