Anyone not get pregnant by dtd a few days before O?

So last month was my first actual attempt and turns out my period showed up a day early which means my attempt was the day after I O'd. I never did get a positive OPK so I just picked a day and went with it for our attempt knowing that I usually O on day CD13 or CD14. Well I picked CD13 for our attempt and started my period exactly 13 days later which means I O'd on CD12. Anyway none of that matters now.... I posted about how I sort of lost focus on my diet and exercise at my attempt. Never did get back on track. I decided to enjoy a couple of weeks without thinking of swaying and planned to regroup this week. Well then over this past weekend we had a small gathering with friends in which we may have had a few too many drinks and got carried away with the BDing. I realized what had happened right away and ran to the bathroom but it was a little too late. I am really hoping we don't conceive from this as I have not been doing any of my sway tactics. No alcohol daily, no diet and no exercise for weeks prior. I'm so stupid. I went back and checked and we just dtd on CD 11. Oh and I had a big O. Seriously this could not have gone more wrong. Weeks of swaying ruined with one night (potentially I know but I can't help but feel certain I will end up pregnant when I wasn't even trying to get pregnant! That's just how things usually work for me)

Anyway I guess I am just hoping for any words of wisdom or stories of not conceiving this close to O.... I feel like with our boys my husband just looks at me funny and I'm pregnant :/

You are most fertile O-2 and O-1. If you do end up pg, it is still very possible that you will get your girl. GL!

I've gotten pg with 3 day cutoff for sure but that was when I was young and superhuman and not swaying.

It's possible, but i"ve seen soooo many people trying desperately to conceive with that cutoff and not being able to, that I no longer think it's very likely at all for most people in most months.

Remember though that if you are pregnant, it can still be a girl.
