HI chocolate, I am 7 weeks 1 day today. So we are really close. I've been having up and down emotions the same as you. Things like, why and I doing this again? Why am I putting my body though this and our family though it, etc. It comes and goes. When I've had lots of sleep I seem more positive, but by the end of the day I sometimes go back to these thoughts. My nausea is all consuming sometimes, so that doesn't help. I know when I hold this precious baby all will change. There is nothing like seeing your own newborn for the first time and talking to them and seeing them do all the firsts. It's makes it all worth it. I really really really hope this is the girl I've dreamed of all my life. If it's not, it will be very hard. I know I can love another boy. I know I can have so many happy moments watching him grow up. There will be lots of sad with the happy. Lots of comments, looks etc....fingers crossed for a girl for both of us!

With my other pregnancies my anatomy scan was always 20 weeks with my last I had to go twice to check another part of heart and my placenta.
This time I go at 18 weeks, I keep thinking to reschedule, but doc wanted me to have one in 3 weeks. It's a few day shy of 3 weeks. Many people have them done at 18 weeks. Just want to make sure everything is healthy

Well Dr office called and they had my MaterniT21 results. Baby is healthy with no chromosome abnormalities. And we are expecting boy #4.

At first I didn't want to believe it and still hope it wrong. But DH and I are okay with it knowing we did what we could and even with his low sperm count and my repeat miscarriages we have a healthy baby. I would love to say we are going to try again but this is it. I am destined to be a boy mom, boys are what we know how to raise.

I'm sorry you heard boy, but healthy is great. And boy moms rule.

I have been trying to keep up on here, but summer vacation is kicking my butt! Lol. The days are just flying by right now, but my kids are so needy at the moment I feel like I can't keep up with anything. Laundry, dishes, social media...

Just wanted to say congrats Princess mom!! I'm so glad you decided to go in for the elective scan. What a fun surprise and adorable pic of your kids.

Ksmom, I am 100% in the same weight gain boat!! I have put on nearly 20lb and will be 19 weeks on Thursday I really do think that being underweight to start is a big factor, and I'm sure metabolism was affected by the diet and exercise regimen as well. I'm not TOO worried about it, but hoping it tapers off from here. I have been giving myself a goal of simply walking 30 min a day. It's HOT but I feel so much better when I get out and move. I have been so lax on exercise in general, so hopefully easing back into a routine and trying to avoid some of the unnecessary snacking and sweets will make a difference. I'm really not indulging a ton, but tend to eat frequently and much later at night before bed. So different than LE!!

I was supposed to have our anatomy scan with the perinatologist last week and they rescheduled until the 27th. I was was really looking forward to seeing baby again and getting a closer look at her overall health. And I STILL am very anxious to see that she actually has girl parts wih my own two eyes. I know I should trust the Panorama, but I feel like I won't fully believe t until I can see for myself! I started decorating the room and buying a few things here and there, but haven't taken any tags off...just in case.

Signingmommy I'm sorry you didn't hear girl. I'm glad baby is healthy though. Have you told your boys yet?

LBB, I'm sorta glad I'm not the only one gaining a lot of weight. LOL My weight gain has slowed down a little to about a pound a week now which is a relief. My midwife isn't concerned about how much I've gained just as long as I'm eating healthy. I'm sure Panorama is right for you! It's supposed to be even more accurate than ultrasound. I hope you get a good potty shot so you feel more confident about pink shopping and decorating!
