Begonia, I think that is an awesome plan! It will help you to have the whole family rallying around the new chica, and will make you all feel very unified and happy, I believe. You know your girls will be excited.....mine are really excited about their new sister coming (the ex's baby due Christmastime). What a wonderful idea to adopt....I always wanted to do that, ever since I was young. DH's super awesome cousin and his wife (who were unexplained infertility for 10 years) adopted a boy from Russia and a girl from China, and they are so amazing that it makes me cry just thinking about them. They got them both as infants, and they are 11 and 6 now. SO beautiful. And another good girlfriend, after many years of IF, adopted a girl from Guatemala. My friend had to jump through crazy hoops to get her, and go live there for 6 months even before she could take her home, but then got pg naturally 3 times after! They lost the 1st (were pushed to terminate at 26 weeks due to some diagnosis of tumors all in baby's body and they did....turns out she would have been fine.....was so awful) but then had a boy and a girl totally naturally. Anyway, I am a huge fan of adoption, and obviously have many adopted kids in my life, and they are wonderful. I think about it also, just expensive for us. But maybe. And thanks for the sweet comments, I really hope you are right. I just think it is smart to prepare my heart for the worst. But I still have some hope. Sometimes. I really hope you don't have to stick around for 4 years though, LOL!
WP, I have to admit, it is kinda nice not to care about the gender and just care about conceiving. Sometimes I feel silly for how much I cared and how arrogant I was a year ago, thinking I could just do this and that and get pg in a snap. I think God is teaching me some humility or patience or gratitude. Probably a combination of all of those and a lot more. (Reminds me of our email convos, MFC! I need a Ramadan myself, lol.)
Flava, let's make a deal: if you don't give up hope of a sway working, I won't give up hope of getting pregnant someday. Whatchathink?????

MFC: Your does look like you already Oed.
B: I have a friend in the Ukraine right now adopting 1-3 children, they already have 3.
TTC5: I had not heard of swaying until about 6 months ago, so nope.
Foxy: Olive Oil for lube!!! Really? I have never heard of that. Too late for this cycle, but maybe DH will go for it. I think he would wonder were the breadsticks are.
Not sure when am going to test. I almost did today, but then came to my senses. I don't know why we think we need to know so early, it is just this driving force. But in the large sceme of things....what is a couple of days?thank you GD

B- glad dh wants to find out, it'll be much easier on you to mourn it together. I get your hesitation on a fourth, I always thought 4 was a butt load of kids and also wondered if I was really interested in doing another without the blue guarantee. Give it time you may feel differently after dd3 arrives.
Wp- we've all posted must be preg symptoms and gotten a bfn. It just adds to the fun/agony of ttc
MFC- I'm so bad at opk/ o-ing questions, I'm still amazed I actually figured myself out lolChloe 3/1/2002,
Lucy 11/23/2004,
Hannah 8/17/2007,
Charlie 2/11/2012 GD sway baby!
12/2003 @ 7 1/2 wks & 10/2010 @ 13 wks
Finally our family is complete!

Yes she does, it's very basic though so I'm not sure what I'll see....doubt it will be good enough to get an accurate gender shot. I don't know much how scans cost in America but I'll be there on the 18th to the 25th, If I could find a place to do it and without me needing health insurance then I would. So much easier to shop when I know what clothes to not waste my money on.
