    very weird!! i didnt know that, there also seems to be a fair amount of twin pregnancies from the pink swayers on this site

    I know and the truly weird thing is that while we do use Clomid which accounts for some of it, even among those who did not use Clomid, many are still having more twins on the pink sway. One of those things I'd love to study.

    Isn't it more likely that when we drop womens fertility she produces more eggs hoping upping chances for conception.

    Same as we reach a certain age we are more likely to release two eggs cause of the lower quality.

    I remember you are higher in risk of Twining in higher age.

    update for anyone interested, 3 years after welcoming baby number 19 they are currently expecting baby number 22
    number 20 was a boy, 21 was a girl and 22 is also a girl bringing their total to 11 boys and 11 girls

    I would love, love, love to study these larger families over the course of time - their hormone levels, blood sugar, BMI/muscle mass, etc!

    it would be fascinating wouldnt it!! i find it amazing how they usually seem to even out eventually too, even if they start out quite boy or girl heavy.

    Yes and while there is the occasional family like the Arndt family The Family – FamTeam.com that is very boy or girl heavy most of the time they do have runs of one, then runs of the other (like the Duggars did).
