    Girl LE diet

In regards to the diet. If your sticking to the recommended amount of calories and in my case I'm exercising everyday, are the types of food your eating a big issue? We eat lots of fruit, vege, nuts in our house. I'm cutting out red meat. But I really don't want to eat crappy food. I'm happy to keep to the low calorie intake though, do you think that's enough or will the healthy food sway boy regardless?

I'm no expert but I'm sure I saw somewhere to stick with lower nutrition versions of foods where you can. For example iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, no avocado because of the healthy fats. Less nuts because they're full of healthy fats etc. I really really find myself craving protein since starting the hour of cardio each day. I'm thinking up ways to get a little protein that doesn't involve red meat (chicken, fish, possibly some beans?) but it's a fine line between meeting your needs and getting too much isn't it!!

Yes I find the same- the more I exercise the hungrier I am. And I used to have a protein shake post workout but now I've cut that out. I'm really struggling cutting out nutrition

It's about the limits, limits, limits. If you stick in the limits you can have whatever you want. Heathy foods are fine.

If you have the option with all things being equal then yeah choose the lower nutrient version but it doesn't mean you can't have the other things. If you want them, have them, just choose lower nutrient when it comes up.

The downside of chicken is that it's a lot of protein for very few cals, so you end up quickly going over on protein while eating barely any calories. It actually makes it a lot easier to stick to diet in the long term to get more of your protein from things like dairy and grain foods since they tend to have more calories per gram of protein.
