Flomama I'm in Australia too-just wondering what were your 'go to' foods as you said you ate a lot of white style foods and unhealthy eating in general. I find it so hard to choose low nutrient foods as I'm such a conditioned and habitual healthy eater! I find reading what others generally ate for lunch and dinner a great help especially from fellow Australian swayers x congrats again!

Ok....so I am like you kittendreams, my usual diet would consist of really healthy choices, like high protein carbs like quinoa or barley and lots of meats. I knew this would be a huge change for me, and I stopped exercising, I would normally exercise 40mins 4 times a week....and couldn't commit to 60mins so became couch potato.

    Diet example would be:

No breakfast, coffee only, (also switched from stevia to equal in coffee)
Lunch around 12 or 1, a white bread sandwich toasted with slice cheese and tomato , used margarine instead of butter. Or had a bagel with jam, or sushi with cucumber, or vegetarian rice paper rolls. Sometimes would have a piece as well or a fat free yoghurt.

Dinner, pretty much what I cooked for the kids and hubby, minus protein and kept veggies to low intake.

Eg, rice with iceberg lettuce salad and a little cucumber, had loads of pasta with red sauce, or pasta and broccoli , vegetarian soups, eating out often had vegetation udon noodle soup, or a vegetarian stir fry....loaded up on the carbs.

Drank about 2 cups of coffee a day, and got as much Diet Coke in me I could handle.

This would be an ideal day....times I would snack after dinner....but it would be a snack like yogurt or ice cream ...

Big thing was skipping breakfast and low protein...

More than happy to give you guys an more info you need.....

Still can't believe it, went to dr's today and another ultrasound confirmed girl..! I feel like it's wonderful news for someone else.....that it's not actually happening for our family...but it is....thankgod!

Sorry remembered something else. I would normally cook a soup or pasta sauce with onion and always lots of garlic, cut this out completely and replaced with leek only. Also above where I write a piece and yoghurt after lunch, I meant to write a piece of fruit...[emoji4]
