Anyone notice how BabyCenter is full of trolls?? [emoji23][emoji23] seriously random but cracks me up. I post on occasion only to get rip to shreds it seems!

Totally random I know. I just watched a poor lady get destroyed for thinking about using a boy name on her girl!

Yep, I've noticed that too. I stopped posting and cancelled my account a few months after my DS1 was born.

Glad all is going good Roe! Praying you feel better real soon.

For those that had the headaches, when did they stop and what (if anything) did you find to help them???

I have a headache every afternoon and evening and they are getting debilitating. I can barely cook and eat dinner and getting the kids to bed is such a chore these day. UGH. I hate that my kids (and DH) keep trying to see what will make Mom feel better.

Yesss this was me this pregnancy! They've finally started to let up a little bit. I think honestly it was around 16 weeks that I got somewhat of a break for a few days here and there. So now I prob get 2-3 a week lately!

Excited to hear your results fiveboys!
Anyone else waiting on their gender results?

I got to see little girl agsin yesterday at my 11 week ultrasound. She's measuring a day ahead of my dates and heartbeat was 176.
I am unsure if I'll do the ips screening ultrasound as I already know my baby is low risk for downsyndrome. It would purely be for nub shots. Lol
However I might just hold off until my 3d gender scan in just a few weeks.

I've been having lots of headaches for over a month now. It starts at the base of my skull/neck and is around my temples too. Tylenol helps, some caffeine, massages forced from the hubby, and frequent chiropractic visits. But they still are regular. I'm attributing it to excess blood flow, allergies, etc...
I've also started claritin. Hope we get relief soon.
I also wonder if I'm not drinking enough water, I'm really bad about that.

Alright, I went to my midwife appointment today and just came out pissed off.

The appointment was all about tests (of which most I will decline) and her telling me that my BMI made me high risk blah blah and she goes on to talk to me about nutrition (hello, I'm a nutritionist). Look lady, I know I'm overweight, but I already lost 100lbs...obviously I'm doing something right, right?

Anyway, We spent an hour on stuff and she didn't give me time to talk about what was really bothering me and my concerns. She checked my belly and said that my uterus had not popped out yet and she pressed really hard and now I'm worried.

I tried to tell her that I believe everything is growing towards the back (back ache and overall how I see things growing) and the baby is at the very back towards the bottome and my uterus HAS popped as it is quite firm but has a layer of fat over it. She proceeded to check for the heartbeat and she was checking too high, so I advised her to check at the very bottom, at the crease of my pubic line and press upwards because baby IS AT THE BACK >_>

Lo and behold, after reluctantly listening to me she found the heart beat within 5 seconds. Heart rate was 140! It was 165 at my(private) ultrasound 2.5 weeks ago. I'm guessing baby is much bigger now.

She asked me if I felt baby move, I said yes and I have for many weeks now. She tells me I must be much further along than I think I am as women don't feel movement so early.... again, the baby is at the bottom and back of my uterus. Gha! I have felt flutters since 8/9 weeks because the placenta is at the very top in the fundus area.

I'm really irked because a GOOD practitioner will listen to their client, even if the client isn't well educated or knows their body well. What the client says is always important as they live in their own body and whatever they say will let you in on what is going on, if you listen..... >_< this "I know better" attitude isn't gonna fly with me.

    Rant over.

Oh geez I know what you mean!
Last pregnancy my third back up midwife met me for one apt. She spent the entire time talking about how everything I put in my mouth will go straight to weight gain. She then recommended going low carb/no carb diet. Like hmmmm hello I do this after baby....like heck I am doing it during my third trimester!

I honestly love my midwives but some things they do urk me the wrong way. Firstly .... bc I've had a previous c section I will not give birth at home. They really push for it. Then ECERYTIME I have to practically beg them to induce me a week after my due date. It's my baby. My body.. I want it my way. I hate the fact that they are so overly non doctorish too sometimes. They hardly check cervix unless I again beg...
