Mommy - July 4th would be great! I do agree with Pbn and have been meaning to say something I don't think FF has your O day right. I think it's cd 16, but that makes your attempt great.

TTC - it's not too late to start temping. I started on CD 15 and Oed on CD 18 last month. Are you using opks? If so, I'd bd at 1st positive opk and the day after! Do not rely on FF to give you an O date with no other factors.

Oh I know it's not too late, I'm going to start temping right after af is gone.

Oh and ttcblue ditto what Kat said! Start temping asap! We should still be able to see a shift in temp especially as you haven't got a pos opk yet!

Oh I know it's not too late, I'm going to start temping right after af is gone.
I just don't know that it will help me much this time being my first cycle temping and it can't tell me anything until after I've used my 2 attempts.. The first cycle I had after mirena was wacky, and then my cycles became exactly 25 days after that, with positives always on cd12 or 13. (The only time I got a positive on cd16 was the first cycle after mirena) so I feel pretty confident that ff is right. I would just really like to get O-2 and O-1 (day of positive opk) but of course I know there's no way to know for sure what O-2 is.. I was thinking if I bd on what ff is suggesting is O-2 and then if I do not get a positive the next day, I could just skip it and bd the next day.. Either way wouldn't O-2 & O-1 or O-3 & O-1 be better than O-1 and O? Since pregnancy rates are said to be highest the 2 days prior to O (and O-3 still has higher % than O day)? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that I don't know if I fully understand. I had O-3, O-1 and O day attempts last cycle and felt pretty confident about it, but still didn't catch the egg :/

Eod even from cd10 would be ok. Cd10, cd12, cd14 and cd16?

TTCblue – that’s a lot of BD planned – and if you can do it, I say go for it! The only unknown is your DH – so if you think this is the “safest” way of getting in your attempts I think that really will be the best for you – what CD do you usually start your opks? Just to make sure you don’t O early, maybe start at CD 9 ish? To cover all your bases!
The FF chart will only show once you have temps input – that’s normal hon – until then it will just have lines of boxes with your symptoms /BD ^^

I know I sorry, I'm just getting super into it because I'm down to 2 cycles and need this to happen.. So just to be clear, you think I should try for the plan I shared, or just do positive opk and morning after, that will likely be O-1 and O? I just feel like using the attempts sooner is better since everything after is also attempts and dh just doesn't know.

I can tell him I got a positive opk and use my 2 attempts cd10 and cd12.. then he stops using protection because he thinks the egg is gone. But we continue eod and that would get me cd10, 12, 14, 16.. I was just really hoping to get the 2 attempts he knows about back to back before O if possible..

Lola – what? sSeriously what is it with people?! Makes me so angry they don’t have the decency to consider the impact of what they are saying – I know most don’t mean other than well, but some of the comments are just soooo painful to hear – gah.

Nacire – worry not about falling pregnant first try – you have loads going for you for a girl sway – you guys are just uber fertile!
You did the one attempt, LE, breastfeeding – that will likely sway much more as you impacted your condition and that of the swimmers doing what you did – so you have a great chance of pink my dear!
Oh and if you watch the show, be ready to cry – I know I always do I am such a sucker for anything baby or birth related – I swear if I wasn’t squeamish with blood etc I would so train to be a midwife – I get such a high from seeing babies being born, truly is amazing (verrryyy different to my current career lol)….
