Hello all,
I am trying to catch up. Welcome to all newbies.

So speaking of team green. This is my first time at it. Given my bout of depression at the BFP i am wondering if it is good for me to stay team green or not ? To elaborate; if i stay team green and hear girl (my 4th) at delivery i am afraid i will not want to hold her or look at her. I have heard of postpartum depression and how bad it can get. I wonder if i will be vunruable to it this time bcoz of just not being overall happy with this pregnancy and all. If i find out early would that give me time to adjust and get over it before baby comes i wonder.

What do u guys think ?

Sky I HATE cooking these days!! And I've felt like if I hear girl I won't believe it. Not just because I have 4 boys but because girls have been so misread it's crazy. So I'll try my hardest to not buy anything until I get it re confirmed at my 20weeks scan

If you are having a hard time with bile and throwing up try eating a lot of beans and protein. Beans bind to bile so it is supposed to help minimize this build up and acid reflux and what not. It may take few days though. I started eating beans a bout 4 or 5 days ago and I haven't thrown up once since. Also if you start feeling nauseated eat a peppermint or spearmint candy it helps to soothe the stomach.

Thanks so much momoffourboys! I have never heard this before maybe it's making or worse that I oppose meat these days. I'll try beans I do like black beans

Bluebooties- I can totally understand what you mean. I keep wondering myself if not knowing is a good idea or it can backfire? I know dh will find out and he is going to tell others. So i might get a hint but we will see. It's our second and last baby so It will be hard to accept if I won't hear a boy. But I think we are stronger than we think and we will be fine. Sad but fine and thankful for the little miracle in our arms.
The reason I don't want to find out is that it's worse to know when u don't have the baby in front of you. It could just be me. Because some people think that it gives you time to
Prepare yourself. All I know is that I will be better not finding out. Not much help. Sorry.

Welcome Mum!! Sorry you didn't hear girl, but happy baby is healthy.

I'm still going back and forth about team green but I've always heard NOT to wait til birth if you have a desire for one gender over another??? I just don't want to be sad on the birth day and honestly I've heard several friends that were?? Thoughts?

I read that too with dd that's why I kept wondering until my 38 week scan. I don't want to do that to
myself again that's why team green. [emoji52]

Kat - We are all sailing in the same boat. [emoji52][emoji52] It's so hard. I even asked dh if we can go high tech incase it's another girl. He shut me down right there. He said two is all we can afford. [emoji853][emoji853]
I look at mom's with boys and girls and I think they are so lucky.

Blue I missed your earlier post. I completely get what your saying I would be worried about post partum as well if baby turned out to be a girl. I've never been team green and have never desired to be so I can't help you out on that part but I think you should find out you'd have time to process your feelings.

Blue - I think I'm thinking the same way as you. I want time to prepare if I'm having another girl so that's why I'm scared of team green. I just go back and forth as to what I really want, not like it matters, I can choose but I have times where this baby being a girl excites me and time where I really want to hear boy [emoji23] Yes, I'm crazy!!
