    Question Confused about dairy

Should we be making sure we get a lot of dairy or avoiding it? I seem to be confusing myself with updated results!

I have cut down massively on milk due to pcos (only have a dash of full fat in coffees)

But bagel and soft cheese has been my go to lunch, am I going wrong there?

I was personally under the impression we need to cut back on dairy if TTC girl. I may be wrong... but that's what I have been doing. I have a small amount of trim milk in my coffee at that's all really ...

I have a massive essay, 3 parter, read all three, esp. the first and third ones. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...-CONTROVERSIAL

I personally do not believe that dairy sways pink. It makes no sense that it does since 75% of all adult human females are lactose intolerant and most cultures don't even eat any dairy foods at all. Additionally I got all four of my boys with both my husband and I drinking/eating tons of dairy, with my last two I was even taking calcium, and then my daughter, I gave it all up and both hubby and I were at our lowest dairy intake. And the best study ever done on diet and gender conceived showed that moms who went on to conceive boys had higher intake of all nutrients including calcium.

Now, some people still believe in the mineral stuff. If you believe in it, that's fine, it's your sway, your way, but I beg you to simply take the supplements of calcium and magnesium without Vit. D and not do the gobs of dairy foods since they are loaded with other nutrients as well.

Small amounts of dairy in LE Diet limits are fine.

Bagel and cream cheese would probably not be my go-to lunch with PCOS, though. You need to be eating 50-60 g protein and 50-60 g fat every day and dairy can be a good way to get part of that. Bagels are pretty carby too. So if it all fits in your overall totals that's fine, just be sure you actually are getting fewer carbs.
