help me! I am so stressed. the plan was to make the first sway attempt in December. This week I decided on cd13 to test ovulation with opk. my cycle length varies from 26 days to 30 days. the last month it took 26 days. I had a dark line in the morning and evening on CD13. Was this my highest peak? Because the next day (CD14) the line became lighter again !! we had unprotected sex on CD14 in the night. it was unplanned! I didnt had the big O and even didnt use preseed!! I had a perfect plan for the sway in my mind but now it seems to go wrong because IF the line on CD13 was the high peak than I have missed he first attempt at that day and only had one attempt at the night of O! Should i have one attempt tonight (night on CD15) or should I wait and continu with testing opk with the hope that the dark line on CD13 wasn’t the highest peak??? And if the line WAS the the highest peak how should I continu with the bd pattern??? I am so sad right now!

Mum with love that top opk looks pretty darn close to a pos especially for an IC.... you can o anywhere from 12-48 hours after first pos opk (generally its the next day but I've seen plenty of people o the following, sometimes later) If your cycle is usually between 26-30 days then its very possible its your pos. Is your cm still fertile? Regardless of if you have or haven't oed please don't stress too much as its very hard to conceive from one attempt ESPECIALLY on o day (if it was). Remember sperm need up to 12 hours to capicitate in order to penetrate an egg and there's only a very short time for ready sperm to meet egg at ovulation. If you're unsure and if cm is still fertile I'd probably go again as it will either be too late to matter or you end up with two attempts! Win win [emoji3]

Hi momwithlove. From what I'm learning on here, u did great to bd on night of O and that may be all u need. Yes I think u should bd tonight in case of delayed O.
U don't necessarily need preseed if u have enough cm yourself and I remember atomic saying preseed doesn't guarantee boy. I did use it when ttc#2 and I had a girl.

I know it's soooo hard but try not to stress too much, it's out of our control now. I've been stressing (as u can see from thread above) as didn't bd on night of O which I'm gutted about but I just have to roll with it now and wait and see.

I know it is so hard! Because I had a perfect plan in my mind but as you know DH and I are not at the same page! That’s why I was shocked when he didn’t pull out. TMI sorry.

Dreaming that's a nice temp rise and I look forward to seeing the next few days temps but I'd be happy if I were you and would be fairly confident you've oed [emoji3] oh and I seen above you mentioned to momwithlove that you were bummed you didn't get an attempt in night of o? Well you have! You have a temp spike that is a very promising sign that o occured between temping yesterday morning and this morning so your attempt last night is considered day of o attempt. Plus you have an eod pattern which is fantastic for blue [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322]
