Blue - I drank a couple of cups so far and have had no contractions or anything at all. I would've stopped if I contracted but nothing so far.

PBN - I hope your delivery goes as smooth as a csection can. I'm having my last as well but I'm not ready to tie my tubes. We are using the pull and pray method since I've yet to find a birth control that doesn't react abnormally to my body.

LMSM - I hope your little one feels better. This is such a sickly season. It definitely takes a strong woman to do things alone. I left my ex when my girls were 5 and 1 but was single parenting years beforehand while we still lived together anyway because he was drunk all the time and highly unreliable. I'm in awe of my current DH with the way he is with my girls and they aren't even his. He's an amazing man.

I have to share a funny thing my DH asked the other day. This really put things in perspective the other day with how unfamiliar with newborns my DH truly is. We were talking about the umbilical cut out on the diaper for a baby and he asked how long it takes to fall off and then said "when it falls off the baby isn't going to pick it up and eat it...is she?"

Had a terrible dream. I was back in my childhood home and i hear my parents talking and saying "the baby is here and its a girl" i look down at my bump and its gone so I assume its my baby that has been born and then it hits me that it is in fact my 4th daughter but i am in disbelief i go over looking for the baby and i find it and i try to confirm myself the sex and i see a girl indeed. My heart sinks. Then i hear my MIL's voice saying my DH's name and sarcastically remarking "o he now has 4 girls" i get even sad.
I woke up in terror. I am scared. I don't want this baby ! I want to love it but i can't bring myself to. I hope having baby and looking at it will help. And i hope and pray this dream wasn't a reflection of things to come.

blue booties im sorry you had such a bad dream i think its most likely your brain processing your fears rather than confirmation that baby is a girl, if our body/brains had the ability to know what we are having im sure there would be a way for us all to tap into it and find out without scans. you are under alot of stress this pregnancy anyway with all the uncertainty surrounding baby's size and im sure this is a symptom of all of that

LMSM thats the only reason im on the tablets, if im honest i wouldnt be taking them if my midwife hadnt said she 100% wants me on them

XX (or anyone else who knows) do you continue to take the red raspberry leaf after the birth? or is it only for use during the last weeks of pregnancy? im on 2 tablets a day now but not sure what to do once baby arrives

Blue - I hate dreams that make you feel that way ☹️ I really, really hope this is your boy! Do you think you should look before the birthday? I just would hate for you to be shocked/sad on that day.
I’m sure Max is just busy with Thanksgiving. I bet with her coming from a close/big family there was a lot going on.
I too, hope I feel done after this baby, but in a good way. Not like do overwhelmed that I can’t handle it [emoji6] But, I will honestly hope that we find/have a way to adopt a son at some point. It doesn’t seem like we could now, but I never thought we’d be having a 3rd child either.
4b2p - do y’all know how many you want? Or do you just not protect and if you get preggo, you do? I’ve always been envious of large families so excited to have 3 at least [emoji7]

(((Huge Hugs))) Dreams like these suck ass! It’s totally hormones at work! Your subconscious minds circulates things we have thought about, and they randomly come up in our dreams. For example, I thought frequently that my pregnancy would end in a miscarriage. I kept having dreams I would miscarry throughout my pregnancy. It sucked! I kept fearing something would go wrong, but nothing ever did!

I’m hoping and praying that everything is and stays ok for you! You have a great chance of this being your sweet baby boy!

Keep taking up until you give birth and stop. You can resume taking it once the lochia and any spotting stops for good.

Bluebooties - I'm sorry to hear about your dream. I do think it's the hormones playing on our fears this late into the pregnancy. I've been having dreams that the baby comes late and I'm still not prepared. I hate being unprepared.

I dont think so. I am just so scared of looking. I know if i have baby in my arms the blow will be less hard than if i look before birth
