If you can drive after the amount you've had, you can beastfeed. If you want to play a bit more safe, have the drink before bed if you're no night nursing. But otherwise, 1 to 2 drinks is absolutely fine during nursing.

In a word, yes. Like TP said, don't go overboard with it. I'm nursing my almost 11 month old and have a glass or two of wine a few nights a week. There's no specific amount of alcohol that sways pink. We've had good results with people drinking just a few times a week and there are others that choose to drink every night. I think really adding any alcohol at all is great for pink, especially if you're not usually a drinker. Whatever you're comfortable with.

Like the others have said, just drink 1-2 drinks. It all depends on your metabolism how much gets into your milk. If you池e worried about it, Walgreens sells milk testing kits for alcohol levels. I have used this in the past, and it痴 accurate according to a Lab specialist.

Thanks so much ladies for the reply!
I nurse a lot more at night! Lesser in the afternoon!
Is it safer to have it straight after a feed? Usually how many hours later can I feed my Boy again?
Thanks

Yes that's best. The important thing is not the drink itself but that it can make YOU really drowsy and increase the risk of a nursing accident with your baby where you fall asleep and accidentaly they are harmed while you're sleeping.
