Hello Pbn, yess my chart is really confusing because 25 March was time change so i woke up 1 hour sooner and 27 march i had fever. I am sure my ovulation was 24 March cd21. What do u think? Attachment 39112

Ok ladies, atomic suggests maybe adding in more attempts if it’s my last time ttc.

I’m leaning no, in case I change my mind. I think for me the mental block is the damn Chinese gender chart. After our first attempt at positive opk cycle gone I couldn’t sleep and grabbed my phone, opened Facebook & there it was FIRST thing in my feed & reads that March & April at my age are girl months! I thought what a sign...
Fluke, probably, but seeing that right at that moment straight up it’s just got me.

Noemi I agree 100% with cd21 being o day and I don't see any other day as a possible contender [emoji4] Yay for being in the 2ww and your attempt timing is fantastic!!!!

Hi and welcome Parying4girl! Like Abc said, its impossible to say for sure when you ovulated without temping but general rule of thumb is day after pos opk. So if pos opk was Tuesday, then you'd 'assume' o was Wednesday so Thursday would be 1dpo [emoji4] Just keep in mind when testing though that you may be a day or so out so a bfn at *10dpo* (if you stsrt testing then) means nothing as you as you may only be 9dpo or even 8dpo. Did you have one attempt on Tuesday?

Emshe I would stick with e4d (72 hour version) for this cycle because you are unsure and I think you'd be second guessing your decision the entire 2ww if you added attempts. Clomid will still be in your system next cycle so why not make this cycle your last 'one attempt' cycle and make next cycle possibly your last ttc cycle and go hell for leather [emoji12] Or tell yourself you'll do smep next cycle if this one is a bfn. Thats my thoughts on it anyway [emoji173]

Emshe - That's not stupid I think most of us on here swaying get hung up on little, silly things!! I have!! As far as the Chinese gender chart, I don't think I've found one version of it (and you'll notice that various versions give various results) that has been right for both of my boys - they've all been right for one of them, wrong for the other, or wrong for both LOL!!

I saw atomic's post to you and didn't respond but I kinda agreed with what she was telling you. IF you for sure think this is your last month trying, it may be worth throwing in extra attempts to up your chances of conceiving. It seems to me that you're basically doing a perfect fertility diet, you're exercising (I think?), you're on metformin and clomid - so you've already got a LOT going for you already in terms of your girl sway!!! There have been a few girls I've seen from here lately (Mommy2Apples being one of them) who had more than 1 attempt to up conception odds and still got girls. But - it's up to you! And if you are thinking you may keep trying after this month, maybe you could do E4D this time and then add in extra attempts next time? Are you doing anything else that may cut the odds of conception (J&D, rephresh, antihistamines, etc.)?

Hiya - yes i did one attempt on tuesday, previous to thAt hubby was releasing only.
I dont think i will test till about 15 days from the day i got my positive opk cos last month i got abit excited and started testing early, only for AF to come a few days later.

Yes I am exercising, doing diet, metformin, Clomid, coffee, hubby ole. So I guess when you look at it like that I am doing a lot of girl things & then the one attempt just becomes one little piece of the puzzle.

Not doing anything else to cut odds. So yeah maybe we should just go for it! Agh... who knows. Flip a coin???
