    March 2018 TTC & 2ww thread

Something I’ve been meaning to ask, do you change to a new handle with the Clearblue dual each cycle. I hadn’t and after reading about how it works with remembering previous levels to determine rise I think maybe I should. I do have a new one...

Btw, I’m having a spelt hot cross bun tonight as my “3rd meal” is that terrible?!

I have my d&c follow up on Thursday. We'll probably get the go ahead, but i am debating just neither preventing nor tracking or swaying. I was swaying girl and still desperately want a baby girl, but i also don't want to go through another loss.

HGmama, I am sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage a few months ago (not during a sway) and know how intense the sadness can be. Take good care.

HGmama, I also agree with above comments about guilt. I continue to wonder if I caused it every time I see a new headline (this week it was -maybe i shouldn't have gotten a flu shot on the first trimester....). My doctor said it was likely genes unfolding wrong, nothing I could have done. Guilty feelings are normal but thus wasn't your fault.

Abc- decaf might still help to sway? I am also considering decreasung caffeine and wine. Might decaf be better than no coffee?

I don't think atomic knows for sure what in coffee sways but I've seen her say several times that it may not be the caffeine but some ingredient in coffee itself that sways, amd that's what I've seen when I've googled coffee and blood sugar. And soda with caffeine doesn't sway. Plus I've actually read caffeine can be bad for blood sugar levels and people with pcos. So I'm inclined to think decaf still helps.

Emshe no need to change tester heads but if you have a new one you may as well use it. Keep the old one though as a back up. The tester head resets itself after 48 hours from previous solid smiley and will begin a new cycle when the first test cartridge is inserted
