    Mummy - looks good!!!!

Hannah - Here's a post from Atomic about egg quality: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...g-quality.html
I'm doing CO-Q10 (specifically ubiquinol - which is better absorbed), 200 mg per day. I think a lot of people do 400-600 mg per day - it is kind of expensive though.

After my 1st or 2nd m/c (I can't remember) Atomic advised me to increase folate (and no folic acid - folate only, and I'm taking 2,400 mcg/day), and take B12, zinc, and vitamin D - the lowest dose you can find of each - 3x/week.

I've also heard a lot about trying to avoid touching receipts b/c of the BPA in them, as BPA is supposed to negatively affect egg quality. I haven't exactly figured out how to do that though as it's kinda hard not to take your receipts when shopping! And obviously avoiding any plastics with BPA in them as well.

ABC, this is good stuff. Thank you! I did go ahead and buy CoQ10 and the lowest dose of D. I’ll add the others and invest in a good pill box!! Haha

Lol I just bought a new one recently and it has an "AM" and "PM" section for each day - makes me feel like I'm 75 years old!!!

Oh and with folate if you're taking a higher dose, atomic advises spreading it out over the day bc if you take a big dose at once your body will just pee a lot of it out I guess!

So my 5 year old just asked me at dinner tonight how babies are made and he also said (for the millionth time) that he wants a girl baby. And he tried out some baby girl names. LOL! This was all unprompted. So apparently I'm not the only member of my household with babies on the brain!

I have wherever I'm shopping put them straight in the bags!! Otherwise I'll use my long sleeve over my hand to grab it haha. I've become pretty phobic about BPA and plastics.

Abc, my 4.5 years old son bring this constantly for more than a year! He started to bring this couple of months after we've lost his sisters (and we didn't tell him, he had a sister in the hospital, well, I decided to wait for another day, but then things went downhill), and he wanted only sister in the beginning. If there was some small clothe or kind of girly looking toy he wouldn't want to play with, he would say we'll keep this for our baby girl He would ask for 3 or even 4 floor bed, not 2 floors as we planned, he would say "it's for our sisters" Later his "tastes" started to vary, now sometimes he says he would like a brother, and when indicating he already has a little brother he would say, "well, he's not a baby anymore or I want another one, a better one" So now it depends on his mood and the baby he sees on the streets, if he wants a brother or a sister, but the more time passes the more annoyed is his voice "When we will finally have our little baby?" To say the truth, it always made me feel good and not sad, and realize that no matter what, I'm still full of hope, that it will happen

My son hasn't been asking for a baby and that's been kind of nice because although I know only children are perfectly healthy I want him to have a sibling if possible.

How many days are you all testing for ovulation past a positive OPK?

I read "it starts with the egg" 2 months before my ivf cycle too.
I did coq10 and a TON of extra vitamins and also avoided plastics and receipts.
It worked for me as I had a total of 26 eggs collected and 8 made it to pgs perfect babies. 1 boy 7 girls!
I strongly believe taking these things before helped my results.

Still waiting for the opportunity to even try to TTC. 16 days post d&c, we got our baby's chromosomes back and it had turner syndrome. She was XO instead of XX or XY. Its hard to say if my sway truly worked since 80% it the sperm that was missing the 23rd chromosome (the sex chromosome, the X or Y). The other 20% it is the egg. But im calling her my baby girl either way. Anyways, since i am still having positive hpt i started quantitative hcgs. On wednesday the 11th it ended up being 105. So Im waiting on a 0 and AF before we can even TTC. I am thinking I will do another slight sway. Anyone think that miscarriage or d&c sway pink or blue for next pregnancy?

Perhaps knowing you lost her because of genetic problems could help ease some of the irrational guilty feelings most of us have about pregnancy loss? I hope so for you. Miscarriage sways pink, I am nearly certain.
