I have been obsessing over my cycle for the past few months and I don’t like the feeling! I have a CBFM so I’m always aware of exactly where I am in my cycle and when I ovulate. Initially I thought that this was a good thing but now I’m starting to wonder if I should move to E4D for the sake of my sanity?!
I’m constantly googling early pregnancy symptoms and I convince myself that I MUST be pregnant. I’ve spent a fortune on pregnancy tests! I’m sure it’s all in my head and that it’s a case of wishful thinking. It means that the disappointment every month is a lot worse because I’ve given myself false hope.
Please tell me that this happens to others?? How do I step away from it without spoiling my sway?

I think you should go to e4d at this point anyway. Put the CBFM away and stop Googling. Get out and get busy with something funner and more interesting than looking at a fertility monitor!
You WILL NOT be spoiing your sway by doing this. Sitting around and thinking about everything your body is doing and Googling stuff actually is worse by far for your sway than going to e4d!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Yep! From after AF ends through till you are 110% sure you have ovulated, even if this means going thru till your next AF starts. Be aware you can have a very convincing fake ovulation and then the symptoms will go away for a while only to come back again so you can't just go till you have no symptoms unless you really know your body (and even then i'ts best to keep going for a while)

I was similar. So, what I did was read what I wanted and got used to swaying. Then, I didn't look at any of this stuff again. I stayed off the internet and just watched box sets. also, things that usually bother me I just had to let go. It worked for me and I'm sure it was a factor.
EDD 23/11/18!

Thank you!! It is so hard to explain until you've lived it but it really is a choice you make to let go of the sway and of the things that bother us, and then once you make the choice a few times, it becomes easier and easier to let go of stuff. Most of the rituals we blue mamas do feeling like we are super in control are all illusions anyway and are not really accomplishing anything other than giving us that little reward feeling that we have chased the boogeyman away when we really haven't done anything at all.

I followed your advice.....I’ve stopped using my CB monitor and DH and I went on a mini break to Barcelona. My parents could see that I wasn’t myself so they were insistent that they looked after our son while we had some fun. We got back a few days ago, we had such an amazing time. I feel like I’ve sorted my head out and got some perspective.
