TTC boy this summer... sway buddies?

What do you all think about an attempt when sick? Does that favor girl? Today is O day, but I was sick with a high fever yesterday so no attempts. I feel much better today, fever broke in the night, but i don’t know if this cycle is already ruined. As it is, we could get an attempt tonight but hubby wakes too early to try in the morning also.

We honestly don't know and generally we err on the side of caution and skip months where you're ill, unless you've been trying a very long time or are over 40.

Thank you! That’s kind of my knee jerk reaction. I’m not over 40, but getting close lol I can probably wait til next month :/

I PROMISE after having been in contact with 1,234,567,890 people on the two sites since 2008 plus my own pregnancies and my mom's pregnancies and all our friends' pregancies and also having read at least that many studies on the subject, symptoms do not predict gender in any reliable way. I know no one ever believes me but i have a compulsion about telling you guys that after having a girl with the lowest heart rate of my 5 pregnancies and having a boy with every girl craving and symptom in the book (and the latter nearly destroyed me!!!)

Time will tell if we can have a boy but we are definitely done after this. No more. Five already seems insane . I’m having trouble believing I’m pregnant . lol

Hey Blue ! I... may be 7dpo... or something ? Not thinking about it much and not in a hurry to test. IDK, am a little bit afraid ? As if the test could tell me already "it's another girl you failed haha enjoy your nine months !". That's crazy I know

As an aside, I'm really not convinced with temping. First, it's difficult when you already have kids, cause you have trouble waking up at the same hour every day and too many things can throw it off : fever, insomnia... Look how many of us were sick this summer... And there was that heat wave. Pretty sure my body was warmer than usual during these 2 weeks or so before O and all the showers would have just thrown off the basal temp i think ? It's just my opinion of course but I remember seeing so much girls trying to temp and being even more lost and failing to conceive for months...
