Skipping breakfast and avoiding red meat may help a little but I do recommend having a look at the LE Diet here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...l-version.html as you'll get better results if you make a few more changes than just those two things if at all possible.

Upping dairy is a huge area of controversy. Most of us on here, myself very much included LOL got our boys doing the high dairy and that's why we started this site, we were looking for a better way to sway. Newer evidence is indicating that the claims of the mineral balancing diets just can't be true, and the best study ever done on diet and gender conceived (and in fact the ONLY diet done by someone who was NOT selling a miracle mineral diet) found that moms who went on to conceive boys ate more nutrients across the boards, including calcium and magnesium. So we have a compromise, if you believe in minerals then please do JUST cal-mag supps wihtout added Vit. D, and do NOT up dairy intake beyond a couple of servings a day. Because dairy foods are loaded with calories, fat, protein, and other nutrients all of which may undermine your sway. (I got all 4 of my boys with tons of dairy, my 3rd and 4th I was swaying pink and taking tons of cal/mag on top of that, then dropped dairy and supplements to get my girl)

We base our diet on newer dietary theories about swaying gender. (that lowering nutrients sways pink, while eating more nutrients sways blue.) The other sites simply repackage the same mineral diets again and again. I have a closer look at minerals and LE Diet here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...s-edition.html

Many of our swayers have PCOS and/or thyroid. That's practically the norm around here, LOL. We have a couple variations of LE Diet that is better for PCOSers in this thread. https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...rt-3-pcos.html

We have given up on practically all the sway supps. They have not worked, really cut odds of conception HUGELY, and additionally can really mess up people's cycles, delaying or even stopping ovulation.

Hubby does NOT need to do diet but if he were to cut back on red meat, ALL meat, even possibly go vegan, and add in soy foods or milk daily 12-48 oz (this is not right for every guy so please investigate before adding this) it may help.

We have gotten best results with LE Diet 12 weeks or longer plus fiber, coffee, and alcohol (and of course everyone should take folic acid or folate), cardio exercise 60 min a day 4-7 days a week (more may be better but take care not to lose too much weight), one attempt/e4d method, and Clomid or Femara if you can get them. For your hubby, smoking and jogging/biking are proven to help. Him upping coffee intake, drinking alcohol, doing the soy foods as described, and taking Olive Leaf extract ~may~ help.

Also should DH be taking anything I did order some olive leaf for him! What about liquorice?

    Thanks
I think I covered most of your questions in my replies to other people.

It is easiest for me if you guys each start your own threads - it's hard replying to lots of different people in one thread and also hard for people who are reading my answers to know who I"m talking to!

We have not found most of the DH supps to work. The OLE is fine (although honestly I have my doubts it does anything.) Licorice root has really dropped off the map in terms of results the last few years. It's practically appearing to sway blue and while I have a hard time believing it really does sway blue (because on paper by all known theories of swaying, it should sway pink) the fact is that it is clearly not helping anyone or its results would be way better and plus it causes a lot of trouble (many men experience erectile dysfunction and inability to ejaculate). So I'd leave the LR out.

I also ate a lot of bananas, was quite active and ate cereal with maca and oils with vit e. Also vitamin pills etc. Dh was still studying and also active but eating bad. We were not trying to conceive my ds and we probably dtd just a few times without protection. We are both quite thin naturally.

Now im still breastfeeding my ds (he is from april 15). I am thin, bmi around 18/19. My cyste is gone. It has been quite the hot summer here and my dh cycles every day 90min to his work. Also we were having colds a lot this summer.

I am so confused on what to do. I would like to start a le diet but as i am naturally thin and loose weight easy, i am afraid.
I read about a lot of foods/herbs/medicine that sway pink like spearmint thee, saw palmetto, baby asperine, coffee, magnesium, calcium etc. But should i start taking one of those... There is just so much information..i have no clue anymore.

Just started reading this forum, have no clue how it works..am i even posting this correct??

Yes you're posting correctly, although it's easier for me if you start your own thread since having lots of people post in one thread gets confusing both for me and for the people reading it. You can do this by going to one of the forums on the main page and clicking on it, then it will open up and give you the "start new thread" option. Just to make it easy, here is the link to the TTC a girl forum and you'll see the "post new thread" button at the top of the page.

You can do the LE Diet without losing any weight! That is fine! Just eat however many calories you need to keep weight on, but still limit protein to 40-50 g (you can up this to 50-60 g if you have PCOS or need to eat more to keep weight on and limit fat to 30-60 g (50-60 g for PCOSers and those who need to keep wieght on.) Since you're breastfeeding, I would like you to start off 2000-2200 calories and 50-60 g protein and fat, you can reduce that over time but I do not want you to lose ANY weight at all, you're already at my minimum weight for TTC.

giving up the cereal and vitamin pills. Bananas very likely make no difference but you can leave them out if you prefer.

hubby biking has been shown in studies to sway pink!

I would not have you do spearmint tea, saw palmetto, or baby aspirin. These things have not worked anyway and none are ssafe when breasteeding. Avoid at all costs!

Calcium/magnesium is at your discretion, please read my response to the previous poster above. If you want to use them, be sure you're getting the kind without added Vit. D and be sure you're not eating massive tons of dairy.

Coffee is said by other sites to sway blue but they are incorrect. I have a full explanation of how their science is flawed and outddated here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...s-swaying.html Coffee has been one of our most solid sway tactics and I do recommend adding it in if you like it. I got my daughter drinking coffee after getting 4 boys with tea.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions, ladies, or if I missed anyone. There were several posts here so just want to be sure I didn't skip any!
