Hi everyone, Im going to start the diet and supps this weekend so need some help please.
I have 2 boys who are amazing and I wouldnt mind another one of them, they are 3 and 1 and I think I ate a boy friendly diet and naturally would produce boys as I have PCOS so hormones arent great!
I was going to wait till March to ttc but as long as OH is on board we may actually start sooner so end of Dec. but will do the diets and supps as best as we can from now onwards, then see how we feel we have done at ovulation and decided if it was good enough to do the attempt and be happy with it.
Im going to base most of my sway on the IG principles, but also tie in the fact of trying not to obsess which means OH doesnt have to be as strict on the diet so may just try to get him to eat the IG diet plan but add in some ideas from the low everything plan.
As for supps, after reading ideas on here I think I will just stick with vitamin b6 as my luteal phase is short but could be because Ive just finnished breastfeeding but thought its def. worth trying. Im not going to do cranberry supps or drinks as I do think the less nutrients the better. So will do baby asprin and also folic asprin.
Do you think there is anything else to take?
My main problem is stress so anything to really lower testosterone would be the biggest thing for my sway. Hopefully the diet will do that.
What do you think OH should take? Should he just take minimal supps? What was it that decreases sperm count or lowers testosterone? Cant remember what that was now?
One last thing - what do you think the best thing to do is, to counteract ttc in the worst season? I have an ion bracelet on as much as possible, ion hair dryer - what are the best things to do to give me the best chance of this not working against me? This is what is putting me off trying in December so my biggest concern!
Really appreciate any tips (Im UK based by the way)

Have you thought of something ionising in your house such as oil burner or ionising air humidifier used with lavender?
How are you planning to lower sperm count and what is his current ph? He might not need any supps
There are a few studies that show that stress actually sways pink, so perhaps the testosterone increased from stress is negligible but that other physiological stress reactions sway pink more than the tiny testosterone rise sways blue. I think the studies are linked in the science section but can't post a link as I'm on my phone

I havent tested his PH yet, but am presuming its high! Will test soon, planning on abstinence, and look into Liquorice Root too. Was going to use heat pads on his jewels lol.
Ive still got a lot of reading to do but am not good at choosing what to do as I doubt myself! May well end up doing the strict ig as atleast I then know what to do.
Yes, need to get a laptop plug in ioniser thing and did put lavender drops on the radiators.
Was thinking of peppermint tea capsules if they do them to lower my testosterone, but dont like drinking it.
I think I read saw P. helps lower testosterone so will look into that this weekend too
Thanks for your reply

Saw Palmetto is indeed for lowering testosterone and is thought to be more effective than peppermint tea (you don't need to do both).
I've said this before but you need to read all the research/what other people are saying and choose what you're most comfortable with - down the line when you have your baby girl or boy it's you who has to feel happy that you did the best you could.

The only thing I would say about the IG diet is to watch your fat intake--dairy is full of fat and testosterone is made from fat! Also, I don't know about the UK, but here in the US dairy is full of sodium, LOTS! So I limit the amount of dairy so i don't overdo it.
The other big thing is to skip breakfast. I don't think this is discussed on IG but I have read a lot of articles about how low blood sugar sways pink and by skipping breakfast you keep it low most the night and all morning. Weight loss also seems to sway pink and make you acidic, so if you can lose even just a few pounds that helps too.
I am having DH take licorice root. I am taking SP. I am also using RepHresh to keep pH low. A full applicator every 3 days keeps me at a nice 4.5 all the time. I also have SYLK for our attempt and I found some aci-jel, but it's $52!2010

Yes I heard about the no brekkie thing which I can easily follow, as for dairy I was going to go for organic and skimmed or low fat yog. Which is also low sodium, thanks for that. Glad I don't need to do the p. Tea then as it made me gag!! Looking forward to finding a plan I'm really happy with, basically we will ttc earlier than planned to try the 0+12 as timing that right may well take us to our origional start time anyway. Also forgot to mention I'm on metformin which lowers sugar levels so that's good. Its just the conflicting advice about not taking calcium etc. And how the le diet is different from ig ( was going to put OH on the le but can't get myself confident about the bananas's etc. But know he wouldn't be very good at ig) maybe he can do a little from the le and mainly ig - hard call!

I am doing a combined IG and LE diet. I am not eating as much dairy as IG calls for, and trying to stay in the limits of the LE for protein, fat, and cals.
