You can say that again!! I bought ph ion strips from ebay however they didnt work on me, which indicates that i have low ionic strength. That is the risk if you buy the strips - they may not work on you. I eventually purchased a hannah digital tester also from ebay. I conceived my daughter with a 2-3 day cut off. pH is the part of the puzzle with the least amount of scientific support. I really hope you can at least cut back on calories, fat, and protein, and skip breakfast, even if you can't do other parts of the diet 100%.
I like the idea of using RepHresh every three days but I don't think you need to use it quite that far in advance (that stuff is spendy!!) A week to ten days in advance is plenty! To keep the swimmers safe, don't use it right before your attempt, just use it a day or two, or even just a few hours before (depending on how much you want to get pg.)!!! Chunky Monkey, you can by them at some health stores, and some pharmacies or order them online. The brand I have is Phydrion, and the were pretty cheap! I thought I was just ordering one bottle for the price but when they came it was 6 bottles with 100 strips each! They also have the paper strips...Ive seen them at my health store.2000,

Atomic, I have been skipping breakfast for about a year! But didn't know about it swaying girl until recently. I do have coffee every morning, a capp, so the milk may cancel out the "skipping breakfast" part. More recently I have lowered protein, calories, fat and salt. I have cut out almost all red meat too, which is a big change for me. I am going for a cutoff since I got PG with both DS's on O day or within 24 hrs of O. I want to do a 3 day, but feel like I need to do a 2 day to up my chances of getting PG. I also don't know if I should do JND, shallow penetration, hot shower and antihistimine with a cutoff. I think if I do all of that, along with the Rephresh that I won't have any swimmers left by O day! Are there any key things that you recommend over any others?

I TOTALLY agree with what you're saying about overkill and wanting to get pg quickly. I think timing is the least effective.
With a cutoff, I would prob. not do all those things. Pick the ones that feel "right" to you and go with it.
If I were swaying, I would do frequent BD with a one day cutoff and antihistamine. I ~might~ use RepHresh but I wouldn't use it the day of or even the day before my attempt. I prob. wouldn't ever do JND with a cutoff, I would at least give it a good 5 minutes to get where it needed to go!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
