The moment i told my two sons they were getting a brother or sister, my youngest one (3 year old) said: i know it's a babygirl. And he started to spread the news at daycare ;-)
Fortunately he was right. Though, i 'warned' him it can also be a little brother. But he was very consistent and hard headed, lolMother of'08 and

Two stories. First, when I was pregnant with my first he wouldn't cooperate at the ultrasounds so we didn't know what we were having yet though, some were leaning towards girl. I was at my friend's house and her daughter who couldn't have been more than 5, rubbed my belly and said "I think it's a boy". Found out at the next ultrasound she was right!
Second, my story as to how we ended up going for three kids sounds so similar to yours, it'd take too long to explain but lots of prayer and things led to this. The day we took and got a positive test, we were driving and my oldest told us a story about how he drove to the city and went to the hospital and picked up his baby sister. (He didn't know we were pregnant or even thinking about a baby). Then, when we told both boys about being pregnant after our first ultrasound they both (but especially my youngest) insisted it was a baby sister, and both prayed at night as well. Unfortunately they were wrong, per ultrasound anyways but only God knows FOR SURE right now but ultrasounds aren't leaving but a .0001% doubt ha.
I really hope for you he is right! Sometimes my youngest still says "my baby sister" and my oldest says he wishes we were having a girl because there's enough boys in the family and he wants a sister...it breaks my heart.DS12009

I'm sorry for that disappointment. Your boys sound awesome and I'm sure the three of them will be best buds. I wanted my younger son to be a girl but now I feel guilty for even wishing that. He is so perfect in our family and brings so much joy. Even though we swayed for thus one I keep praying for Zgod to help me trust Him with my family dynamic. He does know what's best!
