Is the aim to be losing weight at the time of conception or will any weight lose in the months prior to conception be beneficial?

    Any weight loose is helpfull.
Just make sure you don't gain any weight or put on muscles.

I didn't loose much weight, a couple of kilos.

One hour of excercise a day is sometimes difficult to plan, especially when you have small kids. I walked high speed for an hour, and stayed on my cross trainer when the kids were in bed and it was a rainy day.

Thank you so much Atomic for making my pink dream come true

That's great, thank you. over the course of Feb / early March I lost approximately one and a half stone, I still have a little weight to spare so am going to buy an exercise bike today to restart the exercise. Yes that's the difficulty I have found as I have a 2 children who are in school but my youngest 2 are still home with me and it's not ideal taking them with me to go walking, hopefully though with having the bike I can do it when they are in bed.

I know the recommendation for exercise is the hour 6/7 times a week but if you can't manage that is doing say half an hour going to be beneficial?

Are you tracking your nutrients??? If you are, and your nutrients are fitting in the day's totals, then you are not having too much. It feels like a lot of food (and part of the reason why many of us actualy find it easier to stick to than other diets). I was rarely unsatisfied or unhappy on LE diet and I know many others have had the same question that you do, it just ends up being more than you think it will be but that is OK!!

If anything I find your food intake to be a bit low - are you getting enough protein and fat??? Also remember, low carb veg are unlimited you can have as much as you want, no need to limit!

60 minutes is more important than number of days a week, it seems like. So if you can manage it 4 days a week, that has worked for people. less than that does not seem as effective nd I would not risk it.

It's fine. There is not enough antioxidants in that to amount to anything.

any weight loss is beneficial. we had horrible results with trying to time weight loss - very stressful and people getting pregnant when they were trying to regain weight to lose (ending up with boys)

I do track my nutrients and typically I come in around the 40g for both fat and protein. I have on occasion gone over the 50g protein but rarely and if that happens I will try and eat less the next day. I do find it very easy to stick to and I think that's why I'm thinking I'm eating too much. This may be a silly question but What veg are classed as low carb?
